I never watched the late-night talk shows after Johnny Carson retired, so it's not like I'll miss them. But when Colbert was informed his show would not be renewed, The Felon said, "I absolutely love that Colbert was fired. Kimmel will be next."
I wonder how he knew? Some folks think it's all about First Amendment rights. Not at all.
Colbert's happened because CBS was waiting for FCC approval for a merger. Kimmel is because ABC is waiting for FCC approval to gobble up a bunch of local affiliate stations. Upon hearing of Kimmel's firing, Trump posted, "That leaves Jimmy [Fallon] and Seth [Meyers], two total losers on Fake News NBC. ... Do it NBC!!!"
Just follow the money.

All republican elected officials have their nose up trump's ass. At this time there are no such thing as a good republican official. Voters need to put the fear of the vote in all republicans of the pied piper. Every republican official needs to be put on notice they could all be voted out. They need to fear the voters more than the felon trump.

I was shocked when I heard the news!!!!!! I like Jimmy Kimmel, but like yourself don't watch any late-night talk shows. But the fascist regime contines....You just know the other two will be gone. Soon it will be all news put out by the government like in Russia.
This should have been the latest news headline: “Media companies must punish Trump critics if they want their mega-mergers approved.”

I read a lot about the GDR and how it turned into a dictatorship. The similarities with the U.S. right now are frightening. And that dictatorship will be denied. I spoke to a German historian who refused to call the GDR a dictatorship. He didn’t want to burn his fingers on that
I can remember when "The Late Show" at 11:30 p.m. was movies, followed by "The Late, Late Show" with more movies, not just people talking about movies. There were also movies on "The Early Show" at 4:30 p.m., for viewers too old to see "Popeye Theater".
It's sure looking like that.

Sinclair Broadcasting, which owns many ABC affiliates, is now stating they will not reinstate Kimmel and will air "news programs," which probably means more of their forced pro-Trump op-ed garbage.
