Those were all pretty good, but the Artistic Idol had me howling!!!! I wonder if it's true? And in a church yet! Now that's funny.

Happy Monday to you too!
Like the one speaking about the track.

Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.

I loved the one about conceal carry. And that wood carver? He probably died a very happy man.

A Monday treat. It's funny how sad and funny can be in the same cartoon. Imagine when the church figure was discovered, and amazing it's still there. Hugs and bisous.

Oh, tons of good ones today... thank you for sharing these. I can relate to a number of them. The autocorrect is a scream. So is the one with the train tracks. Kizzes.

An aside: Infidel753 is a terf and continues to cite Bill Maher years after his apologia for Mary-Kay Letourneau.

@ Mistress - I'm sure it is true. Lots of nude and sexual images were carved and painted in ancient cathedrals. With as large as they were and as busy as the ornamentation was (is) I can imagine the artists got away with a lot. LOL.

@ Six - I'll bet he did! XOXO

@ Jean - I think funny and sad work together because there is always truth in the humor. Perhaps as long as nobody gives away the exact location, that carving just might remain there. Hugs and bisous.

Autocorrector made me think of DC Comics' numerous Crises and how with the second one, Hal Jordan became a reboot-themed villain.

On the nude cathedral image, it reminds me a lot of the Sun Dance, where you have a wooden pole that everyone says is warm and soft like human flesh, and figurines with erections, all to pray to have children, but not phallic at all. Relics from a more liberated time.
