We have a friend staying with us temporarily who is from Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania where the Ground Hog Phil is from. Punxsutawney is local Native American meaning "town of sand flies".
Not so much Groundhog day as Elephant Trunk day: wow, I still can't believe it after staring for minutes and porn stars have nothing on that guy. Does he faint from low blood pressure when he gets an erection?

Here in Montreal, Canada, we didn't have a «real» winter with all those yo-yo temperatures and with not much snow too. Lot of rain to melt it too....
February might be with some suprise snow storms but not much to see at the horizon.
I like spring as it's not too hot and nature is blooming too..
Not to forget that all those cute men are dressing more lightly and some shirtless who I can see in the park in front of my second floor appartment..

@ Hooter - Here, we have Mojave Max - a tortoise who is supposed to predict the end of winter in the desert.
