By 2040 the elderly will have perky boobs, stiff willies and no idea why, however, judging by how it's the most primitive areas of the brain that drive our animal actions that are largely unaffected by alzheimers, I'm sure they will discover what to do with them.

I think what people miss about that joke are the kids toys are about trial and error, understanding different shapes are different and not necessarily compatible and getting a sense of proportion. When you show adults in that situation, it just shows they didn't even learn anything as kids or develop an adult sense to measure once, then measure twice before taking action.
