Full Function

Morning

"i'm in mid 20s was in a accident n have to learn things all over again. walking progress is low n frustration is high. can't raise the dead but woke up hard n wet with jizz. any chance i ever be able to get it up on purpose?"

Sorry to hear about this. It's always difficult to lose function like that at an early age. I'd like to be able to say that the nighttime boner and wet dream indicate full recovery. But I remember Christopher Reeve doing an interview with Barbara Walters years ago wherein he told her, "It's got a mind of its own." That indicated he got hard but not "on demand."

You haven't described your level of injuries, but I suppose it's possible to regain function. If you're lower extremities are slowly regaining sensation and strength, there's hope. Have you asked your doctors about this?

If not, you should. They know --- or should --- how important it is to be able to function for a guy your age.

Your age is an advantage. The healing process is faster when we're young. Listen to your doctors, and I hope you continue to heal.

A full recovery and a return to full function soon.

Time... all it will take is time. Hard to diagnose from the information provided, but it sounds like he's hitting a positive outcome.

As a starting point for finding information and support, I would go to the website for the Christopher and Dana Reeves Foundation. Here is the link to their support page. https://www.christopherreeve.org/todays-care/get-support/

Not knowing the extent of you issues it is difficult to guess. Like our awesome host said. Speak to the doctors. Never shy away from asking any question no matter what. I had an health ER years ago that nearly left me totally paralyzed. Learning to walk, feed myself , even issues with speaking again. You have to focus on all the things you want or need to improve on. Work with your doctors. Check with a urologist about what to expect and what if anything needs done as far as future performance.

A lifetime of no sex? For a guy in his 20s? Losing mine in my mid 50s...I can't imagine how frustrating it would be in my 20s.
You're welcome!

I hope I gave him some positive reinforcement.

To the letter writer: all good wishes to you. Celebrate the body's doing what the body's doing. Enjoy every boner and ejaculation as a natural process.
