While the SCOTUS revisits their ruling of Obergefell v Hodges (same-sex marriage), the FL state-sanctioned and (partially) funded Pulse Nightclub Memorial was defaced...by the state. They painted over the Rainbow Crosswalk in the middle of the night.
According to TV 35 in Orlando, despite it being a city street: "United States Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy called for the removal of certain crosswalk designs the administration deems politically charged and distracting. A statement from the Florida officials: "As the state highway department, it is the duty of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to ensure the safety and consistency of public roadways and transportation systems. That means ensuring our roadways are not utilized for social, political, or ideological interests." "
The permanent memorial is expected to be completed by 2027.

Oh we all know Repugs/MAGAts are stupid, evil, mean gremlins from hell. So what's new? DeathSatan will try with all his might to try and erase any sign of LGBTQ+ pride from Florida.
