A crock pot full of Irish stew, soda bread, a green salad and a dessert with green and you have a party. We have only started these get togethers this past year, but they have become popular. The idea of simply getting together with a bunch of like-minded friends is a good one. I wish more people would take the plunge. There was a group here called The Sunrunners - just looked them up and they are still going strong - for naked gatherings. Pool parties in Summer, movie nights in Winter.
I tried to join years ago and they turned me down. Apparently, I had two things going against me: 1. I'm married. 2. I was under 50. Sheesh....
Naked get-togethers are fun. Before the pandemic I had friends who would come over for skinny-dipping. It was always a fun time to relax, have a few drinks, and chat.
Anyone else do this - or planning to do this?

Portland, OR has a gay men's nude group called OMEN that frequently gets together for naked potlucks, movie nights, and summers outside.
Im all for nude parties...but I am very funny being nude around food. The ones I've been too were just drinking parties or gatherings like at the Woods for sun, hikes and swimming.
And it confuses me why a nudest group didn't let you join because of being under 50 and married? Nudist groups aren't suppose to be about sex...so why the discrimination I wonder? Groups like that send my red flag up.
on planetromeo I saw a couple of groups having these naked dinners. I have never participated in it.
@ Maddie - From what I surmised at the time, they were (are) strictly a group for seniors. I think I was in my mid-40s when I attempted to join. After they turned me down I thought, "Well then fuck them." Never tried again to join. I found my naked yoga and massage and lived happily ever after. 😊

Apples to Apples is a kid's card game, but there is an adult version:
"That's how Nuts & Knockers was born." The game consists of 3 decks: Black (questions), Pink (female answers) and Blue (male answers). Each turn, one player puts down a Black Card that asks a question, and the other players answer the question using whichever phrase on their set of Pink and Blue cards is the funniest). The objective is to make your friends laugh about the absurd combinations paired with outrageous and totally different answers.

Atlanta used to have a group -GANG- years ago (I miss it.) There were pool parties in the summer and dinners in the winter. Funny but I was about the only guy under 50 that attended.
I also had a buddy that hosted Naked Movie Nights at his apartment. He would get the oddest group of guys together from Craigslist but we always had a good time chatting and watching the movie.
The only thing needed to make these events a reality is to start holding them. Meet regularly, even if initially sparsely attended. Word of mouth spreads. Have a way to let others know &/or follow a schedule.
We have several Naked Movie Night groups. Sex isn't thé goal. Sometimes there's a bit of goal oriented motion. But mainly we hang out & enjoy each other's company. It's affirming and stress relieving, just being around male energy. Arrive by 7:30, movie at 8. If a work night, out by 10:30.
Our naked potluck group has an organizer, board, and a rules listed on a website. Doors close after an hour. No coming and going. Join with all contact info. The door guy takes attendence. New guys sign a release/rules. First timers $5, yearly $35. That pays hosts for supplies at a set rate. Three cohosts help set up and clean up, greet and get hotdishes on the table. BYOB, no drugs. Hosts set how long it lasts. Usually we're cleaned up at 11-ish. Common areas are non-sexual socializing areas. Not feeling sexual, come chill out, socialize, and eat. If hosts want an event with sexy fun times, play areas are away from common areas. Lube and condoms provided. No totally dark rooms to prevent unsafe behavior. Only safe sex. Some events are a camp out, rented spaces, overnighters, rented spa, etc, held once a month.
Clear rules maintain the longevity of the group. Membership lists and event maps are only for members.
There used to be a naked men's Bridge and cribbage group.
The naked men's knitting/crochet/fiber arts group is on Zoom once a week, with some members from other countries.
Many of us are involved in the WNBR, Fremont Solstice Parade, and Pride Parade rides. There's two small a nude 'beaches' on street-end parks on Lake Washington.
There's the Portland, Vancouver BC, & other naked potluck groups in NW cities.
A landed general club offers: Nude Stock, The Bare Buns Fun Run, swimming pool events etc.
A non-landed group had monthly swims at a health club. We rented a city pool to raise funds for permits and publicity for WNBR. Also in the past, the men's Romp Naked was 2-3/year. It'd be Nice to have one of those again.
So jump in and get naked! Find your people! To make it happen you just have to invite people over & start.
I can't wait for the virus to calm down enough that socializing in person (in any form). Remember: Safety first.

Apples to Apples is a card game with two sets of cards Green apple cards make statements like "exciting","scarry","loud", etc. Each player gets 7 red apple cards to chose from like: :"my first kiss", Elizabeth Taylor", "toes","farts", etc. Each person passes one face down and the green apple player shuffles them and reads them aloud. He picks the one he likes best and the person whose card it was gets the point. Every one who laid down a card gets a replacement red apple card and the next person pulls a green apple card. It works for all ages. Our members run from 26 to 68. We all have fun playing.
We're lucky enough to have a nude gay swimming hole about 25 minutes away. It's Vermont, so the season is only 3-4 months long. There can be 50 -100 men there on a nice weekend day!

I consider my time in the summer at the prairie my time with likeminded individuals. We're all in various states of dress, but everybody eventually gets naked. I adore it. It's not always about sex. The conversations are why I keep going back... well, and the sex. And the sun. And getting naked. :) Can't beat it.
