Short Stories

Good morning.

You probably heard about this statement on Friday, July 26: "Get out and vote. If you vote in November you'll never have to vote again."

But, the day before that, Thursday, July 25: "I don't need your vote. I have plenty of votes."

Why is that? Because of the election officials they've gotten appointed in 70 counties who have agreed they will not certify the results for congress. If Electoral Votes are less than 270 for any candidate, it is up to the House of Representatives to decide who will be the next President. A Democrat majority in the House and Senate - sworn in on January 3, 2025 - will put a stop to the shenanigans. Down ballot votes have never been more important.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

I'm going to finish reading You Like It Darker, Stephen King's new collection of short stories.

The more I learn about your election's system, the more I think that it's easy to twist it or gerymander to make one party to «win» an election. It should be a real review and changes on the way it's done. USA now saying you're a real democracy is over rated. Don't ever critisize Venezuela's election but look at your own ones because your system is rigged to the bone. In 2016 tRump would never be president because Clinton won the popular vote by thousands but you damnit Electoral College screwed up ther results.

We better hope we win....and i hope it's a huge wave...but I am not sure how big it will be. I do think Kamala will get a nice turn out.

Oh, yes.
Louder for the people in the back, who think voting is a chore.

Oh, and you'll have to tell us if you liked that book! I'm hoping they develop one of the stories for tv at least...

XOXO

Yep. They've been working at this for decades.

That's why we keep trying to get rid of the Electoral College. If they had actually done their job --- as outlined in the Constitution --- Clinton would've been named President. But, sadly, the swing states chickened out.

We better hope for a win - though his base will take to the streets with their gins this time. We need to win by a huge margin --- the kid that Johnson got in 64 (he won all but 4 states).

I like it so far. Which one do you think should be made into a film? I'm thinking the Danny Coughlin one.

I do not understand people who would vote for Marxist’s and communists. They don’t like gays, you know—at least after they get into full power.

This race is ready to get really dirty. I think the Democrats are much better prepared now and enthusiasm has soared.
And God help you if any of you haven’t had any children, Vance considers you as sociopath.
One thing to remember Putin is determined to get the Ukraine, and he has only one path and he will do anything he can to get his person back into office. Hugs and bisous.

P.s. That sign at the Scottish golf course was hilarious
