It appears there are fewer clouds today, and the cold front moves toward the east.
I've seen photos online of empty grocery shelves after those in the path of this latest weather front are warned to hunker down.

Good advice. A good time to stay home and stay warm.
And remember, there are plenty of ways to raise body temperature.
If you must venture out this weekend, be safe.

Staying in today.
They sent a message from work that we should do that. It's -10F, so it makes sense. It's super chilly out there. I went out to get the mail and it was FREEZING.

I am a Snow Queen have been talking at length, you have no idea how badly I wanted a big snow storm. The Lad was going to come but he won't make it. That one looks like if I get any action it'll be webcam with either him or Warbucks!

So funny how you Americans are freaking of when such freezing weather is coming and also some huge snow storms.
This is just usual winter up here in Canada like here in Montréal.
With manditory snow tires from Dec 1 to Apr 1 nothing can stop us like in some US states...
With more of those polar vortexes due to the climate changes, you should begin to change your winter habits.
Tomorrow with wind factor, we will have -35°C in Montréal and even a huge -50°C in the north part of Province of Québec..
A normal winter after all...
It's Saturday morning, snow slated to hit here tomorrow. I got one thing I need to attend to outside the house this morning, then we're going to be in and hatches battened down until we have to dig out.
BITTERLY cold outside today, too.

Great advice, the snow is going to start here Saturday night, then snow all day and night Sunday and should end around 10 AM Monday. Lots of shoveling! Be safe and keep warm.
