Thank you all so very much for the wishes of wellness. The tests havenow been scheduled for the end of the month because UCLA will not accept any that are more then 30 days old. But, isn't it silly that I have to see my Primary just to get the tests ordered? Sometimes I think this is one really screwed up health care system we have.
Speaking of health.
In these very trying and anxious times many people are suffering from depression and/or full-on anxiety. For men, this has a very detrimental effect on the ability to get an erection. Being faced with that increases the dysfunction.
In an effort to combat the depression or anxiety, our doctors will prescribe medication such as Wellbutrin or Zoloft. Some doctors may tell their male patients that these SSRI (selective seratonin reuptake inhibitor) meds may compound the boner issue.
According to this Huffington Post article, not all is lost. There happens to be two meds out there with a better boner track record. Wellbutrin and Remeron appear to have a lower rate of sexual side effects than the others.
If your doctor has put you on antidepressants and you find your cock unresponsive, don't give up and accept it. Go talk to your physician and ask to try a different medication, or to lower the dose.
Your boner quality is worth the asking.
