A Lack of [Cock] Knowledge

"We have reason to believe that man first walked upright to free his hands for masturbation." - Lily Tomlin

I continue to be amazed on an almost daily basis by the lack of knowledge adults of both genders have about the male anatomy; particularly grown men. Girls are taught from an ever-increasing young age to flaunt their bodies (Toddlers and Tiaras, anyone?), while boys are taught to be ashamed of what they have and to hide it (don’t touch that, it’s dirty!). So, I guess it shouldn’t come as such a surprise to me. The brutal cycle of parents not educating their kids continues. But, I still can’t get over the mis-information I see posted to bulletin boards and forums and I’m still shocked by some of the questions asked; things as simple as basic hygiene; pull the foreskin back to take a leak, skin it back and wash the cockhead because those white bumps on the coronal ridge are not normal! This is stuff everyone ought to know.

Ladies, you are not exempt! You have a responsibility to educate your daughters on the male anatomy as much as you have for teaching them about their own bodies. Single moms, you bear the responsibility of teaching your sons as well as your daughters. I know you think it’s a daunting task, but it must be done. Otherwise, they will grow up thinking all kinds of ridiculous things, place relationships in jeopardy, all because they don’t know what is normal, necessary and healthy.

One should never have to explain to a man, “The severe bend in your cock when it’s hard is not normal.”

Okay, that’s an extreme. But, simple things like, “My dick leaks when it’s hard. Is that pre-cum?” “I woke up in the middle of the night and my boyfriend had this huge boner! We just had sex before bed! My God, are all guys that horny?” “I have a hard-on in the morning even though I have to piss like a race horse. Should I be worried?” “I saw my husband jerking off in the shower. Don’t I excite him anymore?” “I have a lump on the shaft of my dick. What can I do about it or should I just ignore it?” “My boyfriend said I gave him a case of blue balls. What does that mean? Is it bad?”

Those are real questions; paraphrased of course, but real. The list could go on and on.
Their parents did not educate them. My faithful readers, we must stop this endless cycle of ignorance. Teach your kids. They want to know. They deserve to know. You're supposed to have one. It's not a dirty thing. It's nothing to be ashamed of. It gets hard and that's a good thing. Guys jack off.

Very good! I must admit that my mother tried to help me after my father died. I was just 10 years old.
