Dog Days

It's just one of those days. I don't feel like doing much of anything.

Maybe the dog days of summer have finally hit.

I believe there is no such thing as good or bad animal by nature, except possibly when it comes to humans.
Oh and laziness as being a capital sin is but a fable amongst so may in christianity, so no worries :-)

Hey, it's summertime.
If you don't want to do anything, you're entitled to. LOL

And I don't know why some men are called dogs. Doggies are adorbs.

I owned both, dogs and cats (now I have 4 cats with me) and those animals are as mentionned here, they don't judge you and are inconditionnal lovers of their humans owners.

Now that I'm single since 2012, I cannot think of getting in a relationship anymore and my cats are my true lovers for now.
Mostly my 3 yo Adam that I adopted in August 2018 at 4 months old and is giving me the best love I could never have from a human being.

In French we say "canicule" for the heat wave and cani is a truncation of canis in Latin, so we agree.
And for bad weather, thunderstorms, storms, extreme temperatures, etc. we say "a weather not to put a dog outside".
Therefore the heat wave is one of the weathers not to put a dog outside.

Think the heat is helping to eradicate COVID.

Hugs and bisous may darlings Jean and Pat.

I have days like that all the time. That's when I rely on my routines to get me through the day. You do this, then this, then this... and before you know it, you're in bed again, reading a chapter of a book before lights out. Days go by, indeed. Spend them as you please. I worry about retiring. Who will I become? How will it be any different? Well, I won't be tied to my work laptop, that's for sure. Kizzes.

@ Jean - I didn't remember that. Maybe we should all remind our Senators during the August Recess. Hugs and bisous!
