Well, today I must attend a county commission meeting --- in person. Which means I must get dressed. Ugh. It's time to ensure that developer I told you about several weeks ago sticks to his word. We came to a compromise a week ago. Now we shall ensure he wasn't just placating us.
He's agreed to single-story homes, and he is lowering his building pads. No more worries of backyard neighbor looky-loos.
Not that neighbors looking has ever bothered me.
If they don't want to see my naked ass, they best not look over the wall. #amiright?
Have an excellent day!

Yay!
The idea of having a whole block of people looking over your wall is not a pretty one. Really. Developers never think about the people already living in the place they want to squeeze for money. They only think about profits.
Go get 'em, Big!
XOXO
Very good news!
Congratulations! But get it in writing,
I answered your today's question on my blog, but I don't know if you'll receive it by mail. Yes, there are lakes in Arizona.
Neighborhood relations are often either excellent or hateful. I am sure you will be able to defend your point of view if you do not come up against some stupid law or contestable jurisprudence.
Good luck.
Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.
I have long said if you don't like what you see, don't look or stop looking!!!!
You are right, and I'm sure you are happy that your concerns are being taken seriously.
Our temps are at 98°, and of course my air conditioning went out.
Tip: if your AC ever goes off, go to your power breaker box and turn all of the breakers off and turn them back on again and voila the AC was back on. Such a simple fix. At least I eliminated that possibility.
Hugs and bisous
Agreed, my back yard is my back yard, and if I want to be naked in my back yard (I do!) then that’s my business. My bod these days is somewhat more than a “dad bod” but I’m ok with that. Being naked for me is normal.
you're for sure right!
Oh, how fun. Glad it all worked out. And thanks for the pics. I do love a man who knows what to do with a tool.
@ MFP - Well, I certainly knew about Lake Mead.... Hugs and bisous.
@ Jean - Good advice any time you lose power to any portion of the home. 114F here yesterday. Wheeeeeee. Hugs and bisous.
@ Rad - That is very true. We'll be watching them and I believe the developer is quite aware of that situation. 😁
