Well, it's a good thing I've been puppy-sitting. Maybe. Kind of. Word arrived from a very unhappy wife that the internet has been down for the past two days. Guess what I'll be dealing with when I return home today.
***sigh***
It won't be this:
No lounging around
This means I may or may not be posting tomorrow morning. It all depends on the internet provider getting things repaired.

Ouch... I do hope your home gets its connection back in no time - preferably by the time you return :-)
Last time it happened to me it was because of the Box that went down. Two days and a brand new Box delivered/plugged later the issue was solved. In the meantime, pairing with the 4/5G connection of the phone can do the trick, depending on one's carrier subscription.
Anyway, your word processor does not need an Internet connexion, which makes my question an easy one to guess: where are you with the corrections that your editor suggested you make to your manuscript?

I know what it feels like to have the Internet down.
The only thing I was able to do on my own was to queue up seven days of early posts, and to keep this number constant each time one of them is published.

@ Bat - I haven't touched the manuscript. I'm still trying to decide if I should be offended by her remarks. Even other employees at that publisher disagreed with her - she used to edit YA and Middle Grade work and that's what she's basing her rejection on. It's not a YA or Middle Grade book. Not unless that age bracket is reading gay smut! 🤣
