In Threes

It sure doesn't feel like Spring.

It's cold and cloudy again today. The rain has been light, but steady for the past 10 hours. Another perfect day to hibernate.

A good friend died unexpectedly over the weekend. Last evening, I got a text that my godfather most likely wouldn't last through the night.

The adage is that death comes in threes. I don't want to know who the third is....

Time to go to peruse the shelves,

and curl up with a good book.

Oh no!
So sorry to hear that. And maybe this time it's going to be only two...

Talking about books, I need to go to my little library and get something. Days are a little rainy here, so yeah.

XOXO

Maximus and I both send our Deepest Sympathy at the passing of your close friend and your godfather. At times we forget that those around us will not be here for ever. As you hibernate think of how you are a better person for have knowing them and hopefully them for knowing you. I am a better person because of you and your blog. Thank you for adding to our lives.

I'm sorry for you, for your losses, which remind us that, fortunately, we are not immortal. Being immortal would not be a pretty achievement, as Tithonus and the Dawn know (read here).

About the rain, can you send it to Italy? it hasn't rained here for months.
