Good morning.
Sitting on the patio last evening, the wife lets out a heavy sigh, then says, "I can't believe Summer is half gone already." She can be such a pessimist at times.
What's a guy to do with such a glass-half-empty sentiment?
Except get out and enjoy every possible minute of it.

Well, it means that she's enjoying it??
And so would I if any of these men were around my pool...
XOXO
I think you have always made lemonade when handed lemons Pat.
I want to defend your wife: she is not pessimistic, she is simply observing a very real fact, and it is true in France as in the USA.
Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.
Have a good Thursday.
You have an ideal solution.
Big Dude here. That second male could do whatever he wanted to me. But I could do some serious sucking on most of the others.
Hope everybody tunes into the opening ceremonies tomorrow night at the Paris Olympics 7:30 PM.
Hugs and bisous.
Hello Pat, In answer to your question, please review Sickoricko's Sunday Funnies of the 21st, the last one. Another way to look at that half empty/half full dilemma. LOL
The question is whether the comment can be taken at face value or whether it is an indirect statement: "we haven't done enough to take advantage of the season!" and one should expect further indirect statements such as "wouldn't it be nice if we did ... to take advantage of the remaining time?".
Last but one, what a proud man!!!!!!
