Cancer Awareness Month

Morning

Yesterday's post was put behind the additional warning. So ridiculous. But this is the 'Murica we're living in now.

This came from Bob. Normally used for political issues but... Oh, wait.

"Please tell your readers it's important to check their nuts. I had an accident on my mountain bike last weekend and went to the ER. The sono determined one was crushed and had to come out. Then they found out it was riddled with cancer. While they were taking that one out the other one had cancer too and they removed them both, took my lymph nodes too. I didn't even have the chance to bank any swimmers. I told the doctor they never hurt and he told me pain with ball cancer is rare and that accident probably saved my life. I'll have chemo Warn your readers: No pain doesn't mean no cancer. Do those TSEs!"

You heard the man.

Today is

BUDDY BALL CHECK

And April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month.

Get busy.

And when you go in for a physical, have your doctor do a check even if you've been doing your TSEs. Chances are, they'll be better at detecting any anomalies.

Today is Tax Day

This came from Sixpence. I spit coffee laughing.

See another reader story....and a good example of why to go to get yearly. Im doctor always checks my balls and cock. Sometimes I want to tell him to take a good long time to check them, over and over and over again. Have I mentioned he's a good looking?

Thank you for the PSA! Seeing my Men's Health specialist next week, as a matter of fact! Will be on my list of things to have him check!

That video was hysterical! And spot on!

Pretty much every morning I play with my balls as I have my morning cigarette - yes I should quit - and also keep a thought of anything that may feel different or unusual
And keep in mind guys, TC is more common in younger men, but always keep up the TSE
And, yeah, I was age verified again by Blogger after a few days of not being able to get past the gatekeeper. It's random some days no worries, some I can't access the site for 3 or so days. It's annoying as I really enjoy starting the day reading your blog

Let's not forget to be more careful about the physical safety of our body too: conventional bicycle seats and bicycle construction (crossbars are not masculine, they have the potential to undo your masculinity) are a potential hazard for men.

The reader's nuts riddled with cancer presumably didn't raise any concerns before, despite no pain, so I think it is important we understand the truth and limitations of even TSE instead of assuming it will detect issues. Perhaps men need regular other tests to catch issues early. I thought cancer left markers in blood, which we should be detecting more often than a once yearly test if we are lucky. I have to test my blood glucose every day with a pinprick test and it annoys me that that is its only purpose instead of being able to perform multiple health tests at the same time.

Your doc is the exception --- but shouldn't be.

Right???

Good. Our doctors should always be examining our goods. Sadly, most only ask a couple of questions and take our word for it. And they should KNOW that guys aren't always honest about that kind of stuff.

Good to hear.

I wish there was something I could do to keep the blog totally accessible for everyone.
