Spot On / Midweek Mirth

Morning

Well, the issue with comments continues. So, as an example, here are a couple comments I tried to leave yesterday.

This one for Sixpence:

Big says (if blogger publishes the comment),
Thanks for the Deep Dive. I knew about the fuckery with the warnings (I get them randomly, even when there are no boners) and comments issues (I seem to be allowed 1 per day now), but sure didn't know all that you posted. Like Mads, I've been very tempted to just....stop posting.
XOXO

This one for Rick:

Rick,
My Follower numbers fluctuate like that, as well. At 1064, drops to 1043 or 1042 and stays there for a couple days, then shoots back up. For a while, the number would drop but then increase when shooting back up. But it's been at 1064 for more than a month now.
Maddie's suggestion to go read Six's post on the Blogger issue is spot on.

You might also notice the hodge-podge spacing and font sizes. Can no longer fix them---just another area where Blogger is getting hosed.

Love's Labours

Morning

As Debra at She Who Seeks has mentioned, today is (purportedly) Shakespeare's birthday, born in 1564. In keeping with his perfect sense of timing, he (purportedly) died on the same date in 1616. And his work is still performed and adapted more than 400 years later. You may not think you know or like Shakespeare, but as the writing community might tell you: There are no themes or plots Shakespeare didn't already cover.

Some of his unfinished work (purportedly) includes  Love's Labours Won -- a sequel to Love's Labours Lost. My buddy is putting the finishing touches on a new stage comedy featuring Oberon, Puck, and Ariel, references many of Will's works, and is titled Love's Labors.

I wonder if it could be staged in the nude.

How fun would that be?

Valentine Giggles

Morning

Debra who blogs She Who Seeks let us know that today is

I thank and appreciate all of the virtual friends I've made here over the past 15 years. What perfect timing, too, because tomorrow is Valentine's Day.

And release day for this:

Volume I Offers the first 13 of 52 actionable, non-heteronormative, and inclusive weekly tips to help couples strengthen their relationships. Published by 4 Horsemen Publications, with fiction and non-fiction, it provides practical advice to nurture romantic partnerships throughout the year.

A special treat for those who like short stories, it's available in hardcover, paperback, and ebook formats wherever books are sold. (Amazon, B&N, Goodreads, etc, etc.) There's something for everyone in this. My buddy has a lovely, sweet one that holds the distinct first position (yes, he's that special).

Happy Valentine's Day!

What would the holiday be without some laughs?
