Morning
With nothing else to hold my attention, I tuned into the Olympics. Stunning, over-the-top perfect free skate by Alyssa Liu. Headed for greatness 4 years ago, she "retired" - aka, quit. A ski trip inspired her to return, and she came back to skate her way to Olympic Gold. Was that her goal? Nope. She said she didn't care about medals, she was there to simply enjoy it. Putting no pressure on herself to win anything, she skated flawlessly.

Whatever we strive for should be because we want to achieve it, not because someone else pushes us into it.

A beautiful post in message and pictures. I love seeing photos of men in dance. Have a wonderful weekend! It has started with a major punch to the trump white house! Bwahahahahahahahahahahaahahahaha
That was a great Gold Medal win! What a comeback story!
Love that for her.
Just going to the Olympics is achievement enough. She did it right, though.
Well deserved.
XOXO
Thank you for these beautiful artistic images...

And, if we're lucky, Randy Andy will spill some tea.
Beautifully done.
She certainly did.
XOXO
You're welcome. The same wishes for you.
They do. I'm not usually a sports fan but I do enjoy the skating...it's artistic and graceful. Like dance. 😊
Late to the party, but wanted to let you know I really enjoyed the great pictures you posted today, and the sentiments. Take care and have a great weekend.
That is such an important message, thanks for reminding us all. Go Team Canada, sorry, I am bias, lol.
I have very much enjoyed the winter sports. It’s the one bright thing to watch instead of the news. Happy weekend. Hugs and bisous.
I could not agree more!
Aw, thanks!
And, dammit....they lost in OT.
Plus, it's getting tougher and tougher to keep up with all the crap.
Hugs and bisous.
I no, heartbreaking, still very proud.
