Beginning of Pride

June marks the beginning of Pride in most places. As we mark this, let's also take note that any and all marginalized peoples are struggling for equality. All one needs to do is see the news of the protests around the country, indeed, around the world, to understand the plight.
If you are going to take part in any protest, or even a Pride parade and festival, please be cognizant that there are large groups of people whose aim it is to send everything back to the "good old days" when all marginalized people had to be in hiding and remain subservient.

And, remember that COVID-19 has not left. it is not gone, though it might be hard to tell with so many people gathering without masks or physical distancing.

So, be careful. Remain vigilant. Observe physical distancing.

I like the 6 Feet Apart Jerk Off in the last pic. Sadly, there does seem to be evil afoot. The whole idea that the 1950's were idyllic is such a crock. But people have this ability to deny so much... like history, for example. A little empathy would go a long way to help cure this. But if you refuse to admit you are wrong, then how are you ever going to learn?

Your caveats are, unfortunately, more than founded.
May they be acted upon.

Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.

I’m doing Virtual Pride this year. I’ll wear my very gay Pride swag to go to the supermarket and I’m hanging a Pride flag from my deck. The neighborhood better takes note!

@ uptonking - The real problem is that they don't want to learn. Education is the last thing they want - unless it's riddles with Bible verses.
