No Prognosticating

Morning

Hope you all had a nice Labor Day, and that all my Canadian readers had a nice Labour Day.

We watched The Thursday Murder Club on Netflix. Helen Mirren is always a good choice. And Netflix donated $2M in support of CA AB 604.

Today at 2PM EST, there is to be an "Announcement" from the WH. There's a ton of speculation, but nobody should be prognosticating anything with this administration.

Hope you have a very nice day.

Is there a t-shirt that says “Is He Dead Yet?” Asking for a friend,

Sadly, the fucker is still alive.

The Tuesday announcements were:
"We're invading Chicago" and "We're moving Space Force from Colorado to Alabama because Colorado has mail-in voting." Really. That's what the Giant Floating Orange Turd used as his justification.

Let the fun commence.

I watched it too yesterday evening, attracted by its fine casting of seasoned yet excellent actors. And I had a nice time, though unfortunately I couldn't help but feeling that their talent was kind of wasted, partly due to a director whose skills obviously weren't up to theirs, but also to a half-shallow script which made me wonder if the writer has knowledge enough about how to come up with an efficient AI prompt :-)
Netflix sometimes comes up with very good Theatre-like movies. This one nicely falls into the made-for-tv movies section, I think.

Lots of folks are ready for that. In the meantime, drink to survive mentally.

There's a great one at Tee Public that uses his signature as the heartbeat monitor!
Hugs and bisous.

He did the appearance because of the speculation he was too ill to be seen in public. So they hauled him over to Walter Reed, and pumped him full of medications and gave him some stupid things to say.

100% It is a perfect TV movie; enjoyable. It's not going to win anyone any awards, though.

I'll watch!
