Let me say this again. Maybe louder for the folks in the back: Your boner is your barometer of health.
There's mounting evidence that long-term use of boner meds is detrimental to boners.
In that men and their physicians are ignoring underlying health issues that cause the ED in the first place. The main cause of ED --- when it's not a mental issue --- is "blood flow" to the penis. The doc prescribes boner pills. But does he try to get to why there is a lack of blood flow?
Evidently, some men seem to need a higher and higher dosage over time. When their doctor deems it "unsafe" to increase again, they may suggest a switch to injections.
The boners are back, baby! How wonderful, right?
Not so fast. It appears that repeated injections are causing Peyronies Disease. Yes, that's a very tiny hole being made, but when it heals, it leaves a scar. All those teeny little scars add up and begin to cause a bend in the boner.
According to National Institutes of Health it's a real thing. New York Urology, says 15-20% of men develop Peyronies due to repeated, long-term use of injectable boner meds.
Guys, before you start any ED medication, make sure the underlying cause is being addressed.
