Friday's post inspired this, because it made me think of this recording from the days I was young and horny - or as we like to say now: young, dumb, and full of cum.
Most of you may be too young to remember this song. It was released by the Atlanta Rhythm Section in 1978 and was a mild hit on the Billboard 100. But, it was probably one of the first songs to come along that openly addressed masturbation.
Imaginary lovers
Never turn you down
When all the others turn you away
They're around
It's my private pleasure
Midnight fantasy
Never turn you down
When all the others turn you away
They're around
It's my private pleasure
Midnight fantasy

Imaginary lovers never disagree
They always care
They're always there when you need
Satisfaction guaranteed
They always care
They're always there when you need
Satisfaction guaranteed
For a lot of people, this is the only means of release. For a whole emerging group of people, this is their preferred method of relief. Either way, there is nothing wrong with it. It's a great way to enjoy yourself, to spend some quality "me time," and, as I've stated before, it's a normal, healthy thing to do.
It has taken society a long, looong, loooong time to begin coming around to this positive attitude toward self-pleasure and accepting that you - no one else - you! are responsible for your own orgasm. The only time you should be offered a "bye" on this is if you're enjoying the proverbial happy ending to a massage, or as a present - a gift - freely offered by a spouse or partner (much as I suggested in Friday's post).
Take matters into your own hands, use whatever fantasy lover pops into your brain and gets you hard (Ladies, this includes you), and enjoy yourself.
Satisfaction: Guaranteed! |

Yes, Imaginary lovers don't care how old I am or what my body looks like. They take good care of my needs and I'm left satisfied but longing to touch them too. Thanks for this post.

Hell yes I remember that song. Please don't tell me that makes me old. What the hell, I guess I am sort of old. But I don't feel old and I don't look so old. Anything wrong with being old enough to have accumulated some wisdom, but still feel/act/look young? I don't think so. The day I give up on feeling young is a sad day.
