Cut Cock Makes News (Again)

Circumcision is in the news again. It seems the debate never ends. But, whether you are in favor of it or against it, there are instances when it is medically necessary. And, as illustrated in this article sent to us by Faithful Reader Glenn, it should not take a judge's court order to make it happen.

I may be out of line here, but the photo that accompanies this one bugs me. Just as it bothers me when I see men protesting abortion, it riles me to see women protesting and railing against circumcision - particularly when it has been determined a medical necessity exists.

The second article is brought to my attention by my novelist buddy, who did tons of research while he wrote his two act play, Phallusies. Again, the procedure is caused by a medical issue. Yet, this article focuses on the CDC and those who vehemently oppose the guidelines which were issued this past December.

As one Urologist indicates, 90% of these procedures he performs are due to medical issues, the other 10% are for aesthetics.

Both patients require(d) the slicing because of Phimosis - a condition where the foreskin will not retract from the head to piss
 Or for a boner
Paraphimosis is a condition where the foreskin will not slide back into place over the head.

The foreskin should easily slide back from the head of the cock to piss.
Not doing so can lead to serious infection (not to mention it's lazy)
The foreskin should also fully retract for boners. Yes, some guys have very long foreskins which don't leave the head fully exposed,

but the skin can be easily slid back to expose the head.

These people are almost as fking ridiculous as the 'anti-vaxers'.

My religion requires circumcision; no ifs ands or butts. I had no choice in the matter (I was only 8 days old at the time) and I kinda prefer dicks without hoodies.

Mom faces jail
Typical American Story. The father decides to have his son circumcised.
The poor kid in this case will be emotionally, psycholigically, seriously damaged for life when touched.
1. As mother keep hiding your kid and take the eventual jail. You'll become a hero.
2. As father you should be ashamed to abuse your minor child, for which you seriously should be jailed. Look at yourself how ugly your penis looks.
As for the medical point of view, if phimosis is diagnosed there usually is no reason to circumcise. An incision in the foreskin normally will do.
3. As for the child let him decide to have a circumcision when at age of 18. (The kid is not subject to HIV etc. that AMERICAN doctors may come up to, before said age.
4. As for AMERICAN doctors, you are brainwashed and either old fashioned, army fans or religious.

The four photos of Phimosis are scary, all of them, and especially the first one.
They are concrete examples which are worth more than a long speech.
In this case the circumcision is obviously essential.

A cock can be as well beautiful that it is circumcised or not.

But it remains that the circumcision is an irreversible amputation, unlike the not circumcision, a little as the excision, also called feminine circumcision, which is the much worse.

The only thing which is unacceptable it is that this mutilation is imposed on a child (for example of eight days) by members of a religious order who should easily be able to focus on quantities of things having much more priority.
The first one of which, in my opinion, would be to stop fantasizing their religion and to spread it as an epidemic.

I wish you a LOVE-ly day, my dear friend, with a lot of bisous on your glans, circumcised or not.

Important and good info. I didn't have a choice here - many of my generation were cut here in the states. In fact, as a kid, I could not understand statues that showed uncut penises. It just didn't register until I was older and learned that I was cut and most guys in the world are not. I grew up so sheltered. Wishing you a delicious jizztastic day, bro. Hugs and Strokes, AOM

I told the delivering doctor he'd be a dead man if he came near my son with anything sharp.

As for the mother, threatened with jail, start an immediate divorce procedure (if you are married)including right of say of your son. No one can touch the kid during this procedure and thereafter, nor can you be jailed under said circumstances. Am I licky, not born an American, a Jew or a Muslim.

My brother suffered this situation and found it impossible to perform the marriage act. After circumcision he fathered four children. I had not been cut at birth but our family doctor decided to circumcise me when my brother's difficulties arose. I've never regretted being cut!

i've never wished I was uncut. I know I am generalizing here..but most of the uncut ones I have encountered are usually not very clean.

Why are you showing pictures of adults with phimosis? The child that is the subject of the news article is four and has not reached puberty, when the foreskin will start to retract. Until this time it is fused to the glans. It is his body, his choice. Every person deserves the right to a whole body and not be forced to have an unnecessary cosmetic procedure. Cheers for the mother and standing up to the perverse American status quo. And to those of us like me who wish we had never been cut as a baby, hopefully this is the turning point.

My philosophy is that whatever you are born with, Mother Nature perfected over hundreds of thousands of generations.

Why now do we think cutting improves on that? This is very different from accepting vaccines, medical care, etc, which support good health.

To follow up, while I can understand your opinion regarding medical necessity, this is a rare occurrence. In line with Jean's comment above, here are five pages of images submitted by men who live with the fallout of infant circumcision. How is it that our culture accepts this practice when these devastating results are clearly evident?

In Italy we cut only if it's necessary!!!

I'm curious why it's "necessary" to cut off the entire foreskin rather than trim it a bit if it's too tight. I've got a partial hyposspadias foreskin myself and it's the most sensitive skin on my cock! I view circumcision as genital mutilation, even if done as part of religious tradition.

@ Queer Heaven
I am uncut, and, if you please, accept to believe that I am clean, or come here and i'll prove it.
The foreskin is a natural protective covering which exists for (and not against) the men and for many mammals. None of these animals felt the need to nibble it to circumcise itself.
As regards the lack of cleanliness:
A) It exists also as regards circumcised men.
B) Nothing forbids to require from his partner that he cleans himself or goes away to fuch him.
C) It is less grave than a disease or a sexually transmitted infection.
D) Nothing forbids to use condoms, and it is even deeply recommended.
Best regards, my dear friend.

@ Anon -(11:15 am) - I'd say we don't have enough of the medical background on this child to decide.

I agree that, with either condition, a more simple procedure which removes only the Phimotic Ring could resolve the issue (as Fullmoonma indicated above). But again, we don't know - that very well may be what the doctor has in mind.

@ Sparky - If the foreskin is fused to the glans until puberty, how is it that a baby can be circumcised in the first place? Why would it be that parents of newborn males are taught to retract the foreskin and clean the glans (and surrounding area) with a Q-tip? I must look into this....

Wow. I had no idea that circumcision had become such a heated debate. Or that such a thing as a partial circumcision was possible. This is why I come back, love learning new things about the male body.

whkattk said...

@ Amanda - I had an almost year-long discussion with a young man on Just Us Boys about this. He needed it and after a long, long search and regaling a string of urologists with my information, he finally found one who understood - did the partial - and he's been very, very happy with the results.

Its a touchy subject for sure. I
know for me, I was circumcised as a baby for religious purposes, more like tradition. I'm glad I had mine young so I don't remember any painful moments. I'm not for or against it. I just know that in instances where circumcision can can be beneficial to the male It should be done. Now for a woman who doesn't have a penis or know what the effects physically or psychologically are, I suggest leave this one up to DAD.

I had my penis cut when I was in my 50's. I'm glad I didn't have it done any earlier or I would have had a dozen children. I have three as it is. The sensation is so much better being cut that uncut. I've not had anymore problems with smegma (sp) or head cheese if you will. Staying clean with no odor is easier.
I don't know where this idea of a bay being mutilated comes from. Sounds like a lot of incorrect information being passed down from parent to parent.
I am a very happy male with my cut penis and I wouldn't have it any other way .

whkattk said...

@ Spear - I feel the same. I'm perfectly happy with my cut cock though mine was done at birth. I've certainly got no complaints.

Honestly? The CDC says hemophilia can be dx'd during circumcision. (Which I suppose it can, if a symptom of hemophilia is the M&M board saying "Goddammit, you should've run a platelet count along with the PKU that every neonate undergoes before subjecting the decedent to unnecessary cosmetic surgery." Oh yeah, and they draw a bit of blood from the heel at birth to test for a number of metabolic and/or blood disorders.) When circumcision's involved, the CDC has a history of bucking medical consensus. (It's actually gotten worse
about this in the Obama administration, and I like Obama.

Phomosis itself...standard treatment is steroid creams. There's also a difference between physiological (childhood) and pathological (potentially problematic) phimois

A difference between circumcision and abortion is, informed consent. Sorry, you want to play in Doctor Land, you're going to have to play by our rules (evidence-based care, informed consent). Otherwise, just go back to Ritual Land.

Also, this is the child's mother opposing his circumcision? I notice Douglas "I'll defend circumcision, clitoridectomy, quadruple amputation, and infanticide as the parents' choice." Diekema is nowhere to be found. (Absolutely hate that guy, mostly for being the bioethical equivalent of a two-bit whore.)

Me personally? Growing up, I was surprised my white friend's glans was exposed.

@O!Daddie: Funny, my religion requires smoking. I still understand it causes emphysema, birth defects, tooth decay, ischemic heart attack, stroke, and cancer of the lung, throat, mouth, and breast, just for starters. You see no Indians disputing that.

Also, I've heard circumcision advocates who oppose the HPV vaccine because Big Pharma. But I think they're just mad because they've been reduced to publishing in obscure journals with ever-decreasing impact factors, such as the Asian Journal of Andrology. (If that gives you a stereotypical image of rhinoceros horn and tiger penis, I can only presume you subscribe.)

In some ways, circumcisers remind me of 'alternative' docs who assert they can cure whatever the current Big Scary Disease is.

So, z"l, circumcision's medical relevance. Well, not really a blessing, I've seen South African men who thought they were immune to AIDS because they were circumcised. They're all dead now, from TB or flu or pneumonia or Kaposi's, but certainly not from AIDS, because someone told them they were immune.
