Another "testing" today and I find that is exactly the issue. The "pop-up" comment system works, the "in-line" one does not. Very freaking frustrating. Even more so that Blogger doesn't seem to give a shit. Sheesh.
The follow-up on the eye went perfectly! Though, placing the lens on the outside of the eye could have future ramifications on the cornea, so we must get checked every six months. But, how exciting is it that I will soon be able to see clearly again with both eyes!
Today is chock full and I must cut short. A buddy is coming over to help me celebrate my news. We're going to lounge on the patio and float around in the pool.

I too did a test. When I went into comment settings, I change it to pop box, but then I saw it knocked all my replies at of whack to who I was replying to. Some then I changed it back for the day. NOW I knew why several blogger always rely at the bottom of the comment with the @. I could never figure out why on some blogs the bloggers relpy was with said comment. I did see there was another option, I haven't tried that. Today post I will change to pop up and see how I like it.
Boy I miss the pool. With the Raven gone those days might be gone.

Glad all is good with your eyes. Happy for you. Have fun with your pool buddy. Today, I too was ready to through my laptop across the room. The LABELS function in the new blogger is a joke. I couldn't get it to work at all, reverted to old blogger after wasting an hour, then reverted and, of course, all the fonts had changed. HATE IT. I so dread having to use it fulltime. It is full of bugs.

No need to look long to see that the most important thing is the final success of your eye surgery. Finally! I'm really relieved and happy for you. The fact of having to undergo checks twice a year is boring but probably planned in advance, and I think you will not miss it.

Now you've made me wish I had a swimming pool. (Seriously, I don't normally get heat stroke, but I've had it twice this year.) But then sharing it means breaking quarantine.
That said, if I could get privacy, a good nekkid dip, some piggybacking, maybe some wrestling and jerking. At this point, I'm naked with the A/C on full blast anyway.
I can't think of a better way to relax!
