Did You Miss the Lesson?
Like most men - I'd guesstimate 99% of us - I didn't have a father who taught me anything about my cock. Not a single, solitary thing. Ever. Never got "the talk," never heard him utter the word 'penis.' Never saw his; not even soft, let alone with a hard-on. I wonder if this could be why some guys form a fascination for older men - they're looking for the guidance they needed and didn't get. So, when I see a photo of what appears to be a father sharing the pleasure and joys of jerking off with his son I usually save it thinking I'll use them for a post on the subject. Now that we're in the midst of National Masturbation Month, I thought to use them in celebration. More dads should be sharing this with, and teaching it to, their sons.
We need all men to reach the point where jacking off is recognized as a normal, healthy outlet; a common thing that bonds us together man to man, father to son, brother to brother.

I miss no lesson, my dear friend. I am here as it should be, and I wish you a great day.
Bisou.
I suspect that there is no biological connection between the fathers and sons featured here, but whatever.. ;>)~
Along with shirking most responsibilities of parenthood, my father gave me no information regarding sex or the male body other than to make fun of me because I was a 'late-bloomer.' I did eventually catch up to and surpass most of my friends in the area of sexual congress, which was probably a compensation measure on my part to soothe my battered ego.
Father-son is cool if that's what one is into, but I prefer the company of gentlemen of similar experiences and recollections to my own. Happily partnered (most of the time) to a guy 5-yrs my junior and that's enough of a generation gap for me.
You have a good point about us looking and wanting older!
And the pics posted today are way too hot!!
NEVER had the talk with anyone :(
What talk??? Was there suppose to be a talk???? Damn! I missed it! If every parent took responsibility to have the talk, to be open, candid, and natural in talking about sex, then there would not be so many sexually fucked up people in our culture. How truly backward we, as a culture, are when it comes to all things sexual. As for me, I think every dad should buy his son a Fleshjack, a bottle of lube, and say "Here son, Have some FUN!" Hugs and Strokes buddy! AOM
Great post! No talk, but my father died when I was ten years old. My mother and one of my teachers did their best. Told at boarding school by the priest in charge: "Only evil men masturbate"!
i know the time is coming to start talking to little man i've opened the door for him just waiting for him to make the move when he is ready
Don't you know the Josman Art collection ? "My Wild and Raunchy Son" (at least three strips) are realy outstanding on this subject!
You will find them easily on the web...
Great fun with it!
Andy
Never got the talk. Found out by accident at 8 dad slept naked. I refused pjs after that point. Mom walked in once while I was in the shower to bring fresh towels and about had a stroke because I had a hardon and thought I was masterbating (which to her was a sin of self abuse). But my dad NEVER said a word about anything that had to do with sex.
I remember being jealous as hell when I found out about the Arabic tradition of fathers teaching sons about jelking when they enter puberty so they can exercise and stretch the penile tissue to make the member as large and as strong as it can be. There must be some amazing bonding there!
@ becca - the time is coming and it's terrific you've opened that door for him. Just don't be surprised if he doesn't make any moves to ask you - us budding youngsters can be mighty shy and afraid when it comes to asking mom about our cocks. Keep the conversation honest, open, and keep reassuring him that he has nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed about when it comes to his dick and how it works.
@ OhDaddie - As I indicated, not that can be verified. But, I know there ARE fathers who are open enough with their sons to jack off together. And bravo to them - just my opinion, though.
@ iama - Please know you aren't alone. The vast majority of men never had the discussion.
@ Andy - Thank you. bro - I've got to look into that.
@ artistjsudler - I understand your feelings, I felt jealous of my male cousins who were taught to honor and enjoy the gift they were born with. Alas, your mother didn't know anything about the physiology of a man's cock - otherwise noticing you with a hard-on in the shower wouldn't have garnered even a second thought.
@ YFP - Thank you, mon ami, for being such a regular reader and for all your comments. Double bisous!
My dad did talk about sex. To some extent. "Jordan's penis is different because his people have a deal with God. Oh, he's Lutheran? Well, then it was unrelated bullshit from a century ago." (Jordan was the only white boy in my clique.) And he even bought me a bunch of condoms in various sizes when I was 13. But he didn't tell me how to masturbate. Even with the condoms, he made sure I knew to pull back my foreskin and squeeze all the air out, but never demonstrated, nor tested me.
@Artistjsudler: "Jelqing" is just a troll post, not a real thing. LOL
