Today is going to be a rough day for many people, particularly for those who woke 19 years ago, stunned to see an attack so broad and deadly as the one we committed, and wondered, "Why?"
Yet, it will be even more difficult for those who were directly affected, caught up in a senseless act and losing friends and family; loved ones in general.
Be well today. Give a smile to a stranger.

Summer is drawing to a close here. Only during the last two days, cool nights and stiff breezes have made the pool too cold to float and chill out.
We can, though, find a ray of sunshine and relax.
For a wonderful paean to the end of Summer, I encourage you to visit AOM's Morning Dew. Be sure to hit "Play" on the Chad & Jeremy music video as you scroll through the gorgeous photos.

Very nice post today.
Hey Buddy, Thanks for the shout out. I've been paean onevery tree and bush I passed by today. LOL I had to look that word up - great to learn new words and a lovely compliment to what I posted today. Another buddy of mine put the pix and music together as a video and sent it to me and they do go well together. Wishing you all the very best, my Friend. Hugs, Licks, and Strokes, AOM
Amen to remembering. Share your memories with those younger. Especially your family, because one day when you are gone they will remember what you told them about that day, and your personal experiences.
Hugs and bisous.
nice and wisdom tribute
@ Jean - Yes, they need to know and understand the enormity and brutality of it all. Sadly, I have met people who were very young at that time. When 9/11 was mentioned their response was, "That's old stuff; who cares?" ***tsk, tsk, tsk***shaking my head*** Perhaps this is why history repeats itself.
Great post brother.
Third from the last: I don't think that's why he's called Dick. (And of course Grayson's love life is very much something which has evolved.)
