Obsessed

I have to admit it. I'm obsessed. Glued to the Senate proceedings.

If nothing else, it was a good course on the US Constitution and US Constitutional Law.

I thought the House Managers did a very good job in presenting their case for moving forward. You, know: Precedent, Senate Rules, and Constitution.

So, off I go to get ready for today's 8-hour episode.

Yes, I'm a political junkie.
Have yourselves an excellent day doing...

...whatever
comes to mind.

That silver fox with the coffee cup? I could suck that peter forever. And maybe spend a week or two in bed with him. With his rod in various openings and several loads all over me.

Those who have to vote should say whether they believe him guilty or not.

Unfortunately, some will vote what they believe is most conducive to their future re-election.

Alas, the constitution does not prevent this from happening.

Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.

Excellent post!

I, myself, have to avoid the drama for my mental health.

I will not watch more than an hour. Just to burnt out over politics right now and disgusted. Knowing full well he'll get off, and that show where and how the crooked repubs think.

I did find Bruce Castor words funny, and he didn't help trump in the slightest...you know trump head exploded over that!!!!! I was rather shocked to hear what Castor said if I can be honest.

Cool 🙂 Well, I'm watching actual episodes these past few days... 🤷‍♂️

TV shows & a few movies 💙 Can't complain, feels good! 👀

Haha same!
It's the best part of the Cheeto presidency: watching how people enumerate all the fucked up things he's done. The video they showed the first day was sooo hard to watch. That fucker really did America wrong.
I'm watching today to. His lawyers are the worst.

XOXO

Not watching, but reading accounts on-line. I fear this is a futile exercise. The Repugs are not even paying attention. Hawley is a joke. BTW - that older gentleman with the coffee cup and the silver beard... yes, please!

A noble pursuit, but certainly a boner killer. Good luck.

It was riveting eight hours. After watching, I'm convinced there was an agreement with the main groups who attended the January 6 event, that the National Guard would not be called in, no matter what.
Many thanks for all those who got out and voted, or requested a mail-in ballot, last November.
Hugs and bisous

Seems like the evidence is 100% obvious.
If it wasn't Trump inciting the insurrection, then who?

Nice pix!
Can I get those three at the piano to help me practice my piano?

They should ban him for his excessive stupidity!

@ Upton - As far as convicting him in the Senate, yep, it is an exercise in futility. The Dems know it. They're doing this to put it all into the official Congressional Public Record. It's permanent. Can't be erased unless the country falls. Not only will Trump's actions and non-actions be there for historians and history, but so will his enablers. That may not cost them politically in the short run, but the long haul might be pretty brutal. Kisses!

@ Six - Yesireebob! His lawyers for the constitutional portion were pretty awful. But, that's what you are able to find when you notoriously do not pay your bills. They say his defense will rely on the single use of "peacefully." Regardless, the republicans will not vote to convict. But that's not the point. As I said to Upton, this is all about getting his actions and inactions into the official Congressional Public Record. None of his enablers will fare well over the long haul. XOXO
