Winter of COVID

First things, first. For anyone who has been concerned about our fellow blogger over at AOM, he is doing better. No CV-19...but a terrible bronchitis led to other complications. He is resting at home. We wish him a full recovery.

***************************

Winter. It's my least favorite season. In normal times, I would go to the Day Spa once per month. It helps me fill that gap when I can't be floating in my pool. The place has it all, really. There, you can get haircuts (or other related services) mani, pedi, facial, Brazil wax, body scrub, massage. You can laze next to the hot tub or cold plunge, hit the sauna or steam room. It's definitely a full service spa.

It's a pretty quiet and a very relaxing atmosphere. Yes, you will catch the occasional boner bobbing by. And, yes, you might notice the surreptitious masturbation, hand jobs, or blow jobs happening.

But, just lying around naked, listening to the piped-in music and the soft chatter helped me through the Winter months.

It's what I miss most during this winter of COVID.
What do you miss most?

Thank you so much for the update about AOM! When he did not return this morning as expected, I became very concerned. You eased my mind. So many thanks for reaching out to us.

Scary time. Hopefully not for long. Luckily, I don't visit saunas anyway 😏 Don't really wanna see any of that messy & risky action, LMAO 😜

I miss falling in love with the one who's worth it, honestly 🤷‍♂️

What I miss most is AOM, and I am extremely grateful to you for the reassuring news you have given us.
I hope it will be better for him soon, and for the rest we will wait for his blog as long as it takes.

Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.

I too miss the spa visits. I normally go to one in Doylestown, although never saw any boners or hard-ons or mess about...unless it was very very concealed. In normal times, Id go twice a season for a hour and half massage, facial, body wrap, then they serve lunch, and then a mani pedi with hot wax dip. It is heaven! So relaxed, skin is like velvet.

But I also miss my other masseur. He too is good and will finish off with a happy ending. I keep meaning to give him a call.

I miss my gym sauna and showers. I go all year round but I miss it most during the winter. Gym is open but here in DC the showers and lockers are still closed. Question: Are the 2nd and 3rd post, pictures of guys being waxed or hair removal? The 3rd picture is interesting. Two guys laying naked while another naked guy seems to be giving one a waxing or shaving. Do guys wax or shave other guys fully naked? Anyone visited a place like this before? I would love to visit a place like that.

I miss sanity. It's going to take a lot for that to be restored.

Frankly, I am enjoying the isolation when I can find it. I relish the downtime, and all through this pandemic, those days have been far and few between. Husband is an essential worker. Our home routines have not changed at all.

I DID get my first Covid-19 vaccine Friday (Moderna). No side effects. looking forward to my second shot in 3 weeks so that I can then begin the process returning to health services. The end may just be in sight.

And since January 20, my erections have returned with gusto. Hmmmm... I wonder what could have triggered that?

I live in a country with very tight lockdown and I think I miss physical human touch like a hug. But I also miss the ability for cruising and random hookups!!

Well, what you described sounds like a fantastic day!
I've never been to a SPA, if we're gonna be sincere.
Sounds like totally relaxing, though. Well, not adding the boners or the occasional blowjob.

With COVID I miss most going to museums and concerts. It was my breather at the end of the week. Also, eating out. I have not sat down at a restaurant since last March. Nope.

XOXO

@ Tom - The 2nd is a Brazilian Wax. The next is the full body scrub. The one doing the scrub is typically not nude, but wearing shorts and t-shirt. While I've never gotten the wax, I have had a full body scrub. Loved it!

@ Rad - Yeah, I wonder why things got better in Jan! LOL. As for the 2nd shot, I hear that a week's dosing of Vit D & C helps mitigate the side effects many people are having with that one.

Well. You KNOW what I miss. I whine about it all the time. Sigh. Hope your friend is feeling better. Such a scary thing. You make that spa sound like the baths! Wow... another thing I miss. Sigh. I was going to be travelling to Cancun this week - which just happens to be the coldest week of the whole year. So, yeah... lucky, lucky me.

I don't think c-19 will end with a jab, and magically all illness will go away. Masking and changes in businesses will likely remain. So I wonder about the futures of gyms pools and health clubs. They are sadly missed, and it always felt so good to get into the sauna after a swim. Especially great on a cold winter day.

Parties. Christmas, New Years, Solstice, and the like. Visiting family in South Dakota. Moar like South DaCOVID, amirite? Really "what Noem is doing is criminal". A friend has a place in the mountains too, but he uses it more in the summer. (That said, whenever I'm far enough north to see snow, I can't resist the urge to write my name.)

I REALLY wish I had my own place. Then I could get a Bowflex without worrying about the weight.

@Whkattk - Thanks for the tip on the vitamins!

The issue at the moment is soreness from shoveling snow and slipping on the ice. With the Covid vaccines, it is highly recommended that you should NOT take an ibuprofen (Advil, etc.) for a few weeks following the shot.

About all I can do is soldier through the pains and take pot edibles prior to bed.

@ Rad - Pot edibles? Well, then I've got it covered if I can ever get in for the damn thing!
