I hope everyone in the US had a lovely Labor Day, finding something pleasurable to labor over.
Thinking it would be the final hurrah when it comes to the pool, I did a little floating around. A teensy bit nippy at first but the initial shock faded fast.
Diving right in the best way.
This morning, the weather service announces an "excessive heat warning" for us. Meaning, 106F - 108F for today and tomorrow. Summer has been extended for two days!
If anyone is looking for me, I think they'll know where to find me.

Enjoy!
Our temps today will be close to 90 so Jerry and I will be at the river.
I was supposed to go off to New York to visit friends but with the recent flooding have postponed for a few weeks. I relaxed mostly and went to a picnic. I never understand those who close summer off at Labor Day. Summer doesn't end till Sept 21 for me. Hell, here Sept and early Oct are still very warm.
Yes, if am looking for you, I think I'll know where to find you, but I have a question: "How I'll manage to send you comments in your pool?".
Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.
Enjoy!!! Wish we could join you.
OMG 108!
It's 88 here and I'm like 'it's hot'.
And I did literally nothing for Labor Day. Nothing. LOL
That's how I celebrate Labor.
XOXO
wow that is HOT. We treat 20 degrees C right now.
Your own pool, enjoy. I don't know of anyone who has a pool! I guess we do have the Atlantic ocean!
hugs and bisous.
Happy for you, but nippy pools... eek. Shrinkage, on top of everything else. I shiver easily. Is it not better to wait until early afternoon, so the sun has a chance to do its magic? Or still nippy then? Well, enjoy. I am looking forward to Friday. Sunny and 80 here is predicted. I want some warm! Kizzes.
@ Mistress - I agree with you about the date for the end of Summer. Sadly, the weather doesn't always cooperate. LOL.
@ Six - See? But I'd be steaming there because in Chicago 88 is HOT. The best way to celebrate Labor Day. XOXO
@ Jean - The ocean! I miss going to the beach. But the Atlantic is cold.... Hugs and bisous.
