Regarding the post of last Friday, an Anonymous reader left a comment and link to the article, "What Your Doctor Won't Tell You About Male Hormonal Cycles" on the Good Therapy blog which I thought worth posting.
Specifically, this paragraph:
"Men also have monthly hormonal cycles, though there are some interesting differences and similarities between women’s and men’s cycles. Women’s monthly cycles are more predictable and synchronous. Women who live in close proximity find that their monthly cycles begin to align. Men’s cycles seem to be more unpredictable and individual. A study of young men showed that the majority had a discernible cycle of testosterone with repeating rises and falls, but each man who did show a cycle had a cycle unique to himself."
Seems the raging boners he questioned are a matter of his monthly cycle. Certainly nothing to be concerned about.
But rather something to embrace

So I have a cycle unique to myself? For me, you are a true source serendipity discoveries!
Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.
Of course!
I feel like at times I get obsessed with jacking off...let alone when those times of the month hit...im then worst.
I didn't know monthly hormonal cycles
have always wondered about this.
I wonder what they do in the Army?
XOXO
Today is Election Day, what could go wrong??? Hugs and Bisous.
I realize that when they're looking for hot hunky studs to take pictures of, they're looking at the "long" end of the gene pool...
But still.... WUFF!
And how do guys build up enough pressure for a 'fountain of youth' that launches far enough to paint the wallpaper behind their heads?
I think I got in the wrong line that day!

It would make sense if nature ensured the male hormonal cycle coincided with the cycle of the current female partner. However, since men are biologically programmed to spread their seed widely, this means a male hormonal cycle that must adapt to the female at hand, hence what appears to be an individual cycle.
That article suggested that women together tend to synchronise their cycles and that also makes sense in that if any man was able to service those women collectively, procreation would benefit from his own cycle coinciding with theirs collectively.
It would be interesting if a study was done to see how a man's hormonal cycle compares to that of his female partner.
I would be curious about how being gay and partnered might affect both men's cycles, if at all, so was wondering if any long term partners have noticed any synchonicity (or even asynchronicity) in hormonal cycles.
It's so disappointing that so little research is being done into male sexuality and hormones: it's like men are just assumed to perform and when they fail they become disposable, whereas women are considered much more important.
Yes... I hope we all have that same 'problem.' As long as we breathe. :)
When younger, I used to find I was most horny round about the full moon (always been an amateur astronomer) which was good because when the moon is full, viewing the rest of the sky is harder because of its light. So I’d just wack off up in the telescope chamber. Later on I came to look forward to full moons as whack attack time. Of course, I was horny 24/7 really, just really really horny at full moons.
@ Six - From personal experience, I can tell you: They cruise the bars looking for a hook-up. And they jack off. We had a weekly circle jerk on the third floor of the barracks. XOXO
@ Paul - You usually get an over-the-shoulder shots by lengthy edging sessions.
@ Anon, November 2, 2021 at 8:57 PM - Good questions. I have some research to do to see if I can dig anything up on that.
@ Jean - Sadly...your state just elected the Trump devotee as governor. Yet, seem to be poised to retain the House chamber. With Youngkin in power, it is your best hope of retaining anything that has passed over the last 2 years.
