It's Free

"How important is morning wood? I can get hard in seconds if I'm with someone but I haven't woken up with a solid boner in weeks."

All erections point to overall health. Boners are your personal health barometer. But morning wood can say a lot about nerve connection, blood flow, and hormone level. According to ro health guide, a man should wake up with an erection at least two or three times per week.

If you aren't but you can still get hard for sex...well, it may not be cause for immediate concern. But you should still keep an eye on the frequency.

Or lack thereof.

Here's a decent way track them and know whether it's time to go see your doctor: there's an app (because of course there is) to help you do just that. It's developed by Roman, the online purveyor of Viagra. and available through the Apple Store, Morning Glory Tracker

"Morning Glory is the first ever app to help men track their morning erections. Created by the team behind men’s health startup Roman, Morning Glory uses GIFs and erectile facts to encourage guys to log whether they woke up with morning wood, and celebrate having a “boner streak.”"

It even has an alarm to remind you to log your morning log. So it doesn't get tedious, they make it entertaining.

Get the app. Did I mention it's free. And tracking those boners could actually help.

But OF COURSE there's an app for that! LOL
Morning wood is great. And he may be getting some wood while still asleep, so the app could come... handy?

No need for app. Every morning... stands up and wants to be counted!

If I never wake up with a erection one morning....then Ill know for sure there is an issue then. It's very rare for me to wake up soft.

"In weeks"? It's not a very very long delay!
Is it only because he was not with someone during these weeks?
If yes, I think that it's not maddening.

Why is 'morning wood' more important than a nighttime erection?

If there's concern about nighttime, use the postage stamp trick... fasten a ring of postage stamps around your soft friend. Theory is that if you get a woody overnight, the strip will tear, letting you know you did it.

A great idea this app, it gets it out of the guessing and into the facts that you can take to your doctor.
The very kind of information a doctor appreciates and saves a lot of time. Hugs and bisous.

Invite me over and I will check for you each morning. Who needs an app when I am available? LOL!

Everyone's different in so many ways: I think we can get too paranoid following rigid guidelines for frequency, average, etc and especially following the examples of porn.

So, there's an app and now guys are going to panic if they don't show the desired number of boners per month. Does it come with a cuff for detecting nocturnal erections too? Are the results sent back to a server so you can compare yourself against everyone else?

@ PaulMmn - The morning wood actually is a "nighttime" erection. The last one before we wake.

@ Anon - I don't think there's any cuff with this app. And, no, i don't think the information is stored on any server...but I could be wrong.

What will they think of next?

My boner wakes me for a session and it doesn't matter what time. I then just masturbate and go back to bed to sleep further.

Men get erections while they dream. I'm not a doctor, but I have always assumed that you have morning wood when you happen to wake up from a dream, and if you happen to wake up between dreams, no morning wood. So, lack of morning wood is nothing to be concerned about.
