Good Morning
After you've accomplished your morning things,
Get a banned book.
Maybe like this one:
FLAMER
Another book challenged for its depictions of LGBTQ experiences, Flamer is a coming-of-age graphic novel by award-winning author and illustrator Mike Curato who, according to NPR, knows boys the way “Judy Blume knows a teenaged girl, and that’s quite a bit.”
Despite its challenged status, Jarret J. Krosoczka, author of Hey, Kiddo, argues that this book about finding yourself at summer camp “will save lives.” Hopefully, it can find its way into those lives to save them.
Available at Amazon, Apple Books, and Barnes & Noble

Thank you for this selection of great pics.
Hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.
May you have a most joyful day
Well, you're on fire.
I am gonna put this one in my list, too. And I was astonished to see how many graphic novels have been banned! Ugh.
XOXO
In Canasa we don't have that such «banned books» as in many USA's states.
We banned religion from our civil and politic lives since the 60's and we don't want to go back there, no way.
The only books that «could» be censures would be books which would talk about racism, sexism or anti semitism or facism etc..
We are free to read any books we want to and schools are also providing many good books for children to read and make up their minds to all sort of subjects according to their age.
@ Six - I know, right??? The ban folks are on fire with their witch hunt. XOXO
@ JiEL - It's nice to know that Canada manages to stick to those rules. I wish we could stop all the nasty BS happening here. Between book bans and having religious crap shoved down our throats, and the Putin-Puppet idiots in Washington determined to have us all live under Theocratic Autocracy I'm exhausted trying to fight back.
@ MFP - I thought maybe it was too much? Hugs and bisous.
And add to your to-do list, getting a Covid booster: The flu was always the big thing with 25 to 30,000 deaths a year which everyone thought was terrible.
Last year 244,986 deaths from Covid. Sobering.
Hugs and bisous.
I just found out recently that our library here in Camp Hill, you can take and donate books. From now all that I have books that are either duplicates or I know I won't read again I'm taking them there, and I have a few banned ones.
And that guy in the gif feeling himself up in his underwear on the bed as a beyond sexy smile!!!!!! That would make my underwear drop!
what a good idea!
@ Jean - Yep, it's getting bad again. My brother and SIL, and my sister all got it again. The jabs are tough to get here - they run out almost as fast as they come in. And the anti-vaxxers are making progress in their campaign. Not good. Hugs and bisous.
