This is not a political blog, but the event cannot be ignored.
With a verdict that quick, it was either going to be full acquittal or full conviction on all 34 counts. Remember, the case was not about paying off a porn star to keep quiet. It was about falsifying business records to cover up illegal campaign contributions - that is what made these charges Felonies.
Yes, he can continue to campaign. Yes, he can even become POTUS as a convicted felon. There is nothing in the US Constitution to prevent that.

Ugh.
But he'll forever be a convicted felon. First time he's actually been hold accountable for his fuckery. And he could go to jail.
Also, there's THREE more cases crawling their way around where he's apparently more likely to get convicted. Again.

I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like waiting for the election results to come out in November…. Michael Cohen said today that if Trump wins the election in November he would consider leaving the country. Revenge and retribution.
