Shots Became Lava Flows

A comment on the Seeking Stronger Orgasms post asked:

"First of all I love your blog. I look forward to it everyday. I just wanted to say that when I play with myself and start to cum, my stomach tightens up briefly. When I was younger I was a shooter but now at 60 it just rolls out over the head. I wonder how many other men have the same issue. Thanks again for your wonderful blog."

I think a lot of men experience this as they age; the shots become lava flows. However, less velocity when you shoot can be addressed. It won't happen overnight, but there is a solution.

Kegels.

You can do them with or without an erection. You can do them at any time and no one would even know.

Those help to strengthen the anchoring muscles along the perineum, which spasm during an orgasm to help move cum along the shaft. These are the same muscles that help you cut off the flow of urine when you piss, or to help you clear the urethra afterward. The stronger those muscles, the better your ejaculations.

Start by doing 5 reps two times per day. After a week, increase to 10 reps. The following week, increase to 15 reps, etc, etc. Like exercising any muscle,

over time, you should see an improvement in strength.

And, therefore, improvement in velocity.

Don't forget a maintenance routine. Once you've returned to a satisfactory level of velocity when you shoot, keep doing at least 5 reps per day.

So Hard it Hurt

"Boy am I glad your back! Sat was a very rough day. My dick was so hard it hurt and it took me to cum twice to make it go down? Any explanations for what woud make that to happen?"

Well, it happens. The cock goes from this

to this

and doesn't let up.

And it relates to the exchange of blood into and out of the cock. The normal boner will occasionally subside a wee bit over the course of its presence. It will get hard; soften up; get hard again; soften up again....

Then, the closer you get to ejaculation, the harder it will be until you actually cum.

What causes a painfully hard boner in the first place? According to the Urology Medical Group:
"Different conditions can trigger painful erections, often related to how blood flows to and from the penis, including: Blood disorders, prescription and nonprescription medications (e.g., blood pressure medications or recreational drugs), trauma to the penis, infection or inflammation in the urethra or urinary tract, and hormonal imbalances."

Men go through stretches of high libido, too (hormonal imbalance), during which we may experience more frequent erections as well as much harder ones. But, if the problem continues and / or is consistent,

or if other symptoms start appearing (such as difficulty trying to piss, or pain or a burning sensation when you take a leak),

it's time to go see your doctor.

A Win-Win

"My wife asked why there is always a puddle of pre on my stomach or a big wet spot on the sheets in the morning. I get all the random boners during the day and don't leak. Why does my dick leak so much at night?"

It could be from mini-ejaculations. Or it could be Pre-ejaculate. Pre-cum, is produced by the Cowpers Glands directly adjacent to the Prostate. Although the amount produced varies from guy to guy, it is still tied to the level of arousal. The more aroused, and the longer the arousal lasts, the more pre is sent along to prepare the way for your swimmers.

As we age and hormones level out we don't notice those random erections as much during the day.  But, we're usually completely unaware of nighttime boners. Those can last anywhere from a few minutes to more than an hour. The level of hardness (arousal) can vary, too. But the ones at night often bring on sexual dreams triggering the resultant flow of pre-cum. Just like the full-on wet dream, pre-cum during sleep is considered a "nocturnal emission."

But pre-cum is a good thing. Can you say, "Free lube"?

According to Healthline, "Most men and boys don’t need any treatment for nocturnal emissions. They usually become less frequent as you move into your 20s. They may be more frequent, however, during periods in which you’re having less sexual intercourse or are masturbating less often.

"Increased sexual activity may lead to a decrease in nocturnal emissions. If you have questions about nocturnal emissions, talk with your doctor."

You could go into the long-winded explanation of random Blood Oxygen Boners (BOEs), morning wood, etc, but just tell your wife that dreaming about her gets you so excited it makes your cock drool. You could tell her the best way to decrease the pools is by having more sex.

She gets clean sheets, you get more sex. Look at that, a win-win!

Still Here

It appears the blog has made it through the weekend. It's bizarre to wake in the morning and wonder if it's still here.

So, Happy Monday. Have a laugh or two.
