Fortitude

1

Even when expected, receiving unwelcome results can sap you both mentally and physically. My strength eludes me right now. I apologize that I missed posting yesterday ---- and I haven't left my usual comments or messages for my fellow bloggers. I hope you will bear with me as it may take a while to regain the fortitude.

In the meantime, I leave you with...

Dear brother, I'm holding you in my arms. Take all the time you need. You have given so much for us to enjoy throughout your blog. I wish you all the best, bro, and hope you feel better soon. Hugs and Strokes, AOM

I dare to hope that you are not afraid that my friendship depends on what you publish or do not publish, nor of the fact that you visite my blog or not.
If yes, I'm disappointed, and otherwise why to worry you.
Take care of you, my dear friend, and make nothing if you do not find pleasure there or when it is for the price of an effort which nobody demands to you.
I wish you all the best, my dear Pat, with as much bisous as necessary so that you find again all your strengths soon.

Blog burnout is a very frequent occurrence, and disappointing for the reader. Often it seems that expectations escalate to unsupportable levels of quantity or perfection. Most of my favorite blogs are quite modest - a picture or two (or six) a day, intermittent commentary, and skipping a day or two a week.

@ AOM - I do believe that is what I need right now. Hugs.

@ MFP - mon ami, I know better than to think you rely on reciprocation at all times. I appreciate knowing that. Wrap your arms around me for a day or two, hide me in a cocoon, until I recover. For it shall pass...it just may take a few days.

@ O!Daddie & LP - Thank you so much - both of you! This sense of helplessness shall pass - it just may take a few days.
