The Pleasure of Your Cock

The weekend was better. Right up until last evening, when things began seizing into large knots again. When the M.D. flares up, I find myself hoping that the morning boner would still make an appearance.

It did, thank goodness.

Now I wonder if an afternoon of me time will be possible.

Last evening this thought struck: It's such a silly little thing, really. When you think about it.
7
But it strikes at the very core of a man. Yes, we are more than our cocks. But...the thought of losing the use of it, well...it becomes a personal tragedy. Yet, to dwell on it only makes it worse. Depression is one huge boner killer.
8
I think about our Lord Patrick (now simplified to Patrick) who has faced it with good humor and grace. And wonder how he manages to do that.
9
How do you think you would react if you could no longer enjoy the pleasure of your cock?

it's not only pleasure of dick, it's sex. I can't think and I don't want life without sex!

Hey Bro! I'm vrooming all through your blog thinking of you! : ) I'd be very sad if I lost the enjoyment of my cock, but I know that it would be something I would have to accept and make the most of life. It would a sad farewell, I would always miss our time together, but there is so much more to life. I wish you good health and much pleasure. Have a lovely bonerific day! Hugs, Licks, and Strokes, AOM

Right now I'm in a boner-killing depression that I'm hoping the Prozac will help. My partner Jerry had prostate cancer which resulted in the removal of his prostate (like Patrick) but he manages beautifully even without getting fully hard because it's the orgasm, not the ejaculation that counts. He's amazing!

Yes! I've handed over my "Lordship"! So nice to be just "Patrick" again! Look! I've lived with depressing for 60 years and am still reasonably "sane" (whatever that might mean)! I just have to accept that "morning wood" has been chopped down and everything that goes with it! Thanks for the mention and your visits and comments! Now, rest up as much as you need! Oh! Great post as always! Those guys have no problems!

How makes the Pope? How make (or are supposed to make) the catholic priests? How do we make when we lose a relative, a friend, a lover? How do we make when we lose our strengths, our hopes and the illusions of our youth?
Only one answer: the show must go on!
At least as long as your life has a satisfactory quality-price ratio.
But that doesn't deprive you of your right to take as much time for yourself as you want.
Courage, my friend.
Love, hugs and bisous Jean and Pat.

I awoke and took some me time to do manual stretching of my foreskin and then got a boner. What joy. Here is a link to a study on how spending time nude is helpful. http://www.newser.com/story/237429/feeling-blue-scientists-suggest-spending-time-nude.html

Do you get the option of getting the other parts??

I know you can get transplants these days but finding a doctor who can do it safely or insurance to cover the whole thing (more than likely wont be in your country of residence either) makes it out of reach for just about everyone. Then you got the transplant rejection issue; operation could have gone well but your body just does not want it and will do what it can to get rid of it.

There is another option but that is a whole other discussion and a controversial one too. Unfortunately it is a very real aspect of it happening with males (they are more likely to do it) due to stigma and other stuff that just shouldnt be happening in this day and age. A male's mental and emotional health is just as important as its physical health.

At the end of it a man is more than just his penis. The same with women; they are more than just a vagina.

@ T - You're correct. I hope that someday they'll do with prostate and cock what they've been doing with other organs...growing them from ones own stem cells. Wouldn't that be great? Especially for those military guys who come home with their bits blown off...

We all have to deal with the issue in our own way -- the problem now is what to do with what's there -- it worked once and used to be in ready mode and now, nothing. Can't get it even once in a while and so it is frustrating.

@ Chris - There are options available. Pills aren't for everyone. Talk to your doctor - see if he can offer some suggestions.
