Why Is That?

Boners.
It still continues to stupify me. Cocks get hard.

We all know this. Yet, we still hate to think about it except within the context of a possible sexual encounter.

Why is that, do you think?

to tell you the truth, it's very rare I have an erection not during the sex!

I don't believe boners happen! : ) Just kidding. Culture! Our culture has been poisoned by misguided religions that fear sexual energy. Just my opinion. Nature is Natural - the way it is - the way things are. No need to be frightened by Nature. I hope all goes well for you today, bro. Hugs, Licks, and Strokes, AOM

Well! With one that no longer works it is something that I miss! A nice "morning wood" occasionally would be nice, but that's gone too! It's not just age but botched prostate surgery! Trust your visit to the doctor goes well.

Because women like to have the monopoly on biological issues.

As a society we are bombarded with reminders that women have a menstrual cycle; adverts in magazines for panty liners and tampons, adverts on the telly for the same. Here in England we even have an advert about how difficult and worrying periods can be for teenage girls at school, and the products available to help with the monthly bleed. Umm... what about the problems boys face during puberty? Sudden erections, wet dreams that may come as a complete surprise, bringing a whole load of anxiety and embarrassment, the fact that male genital hygene isn't mentioned at all in the home or at school.

By acknowledging that men get erections simply as a part of their day, that testicles produce sperm all the time and it needs to be released to relieve aches, depression, moodiness etc, means that women would no longer be the only ones with a biological function. The only ones with any importance. The only ones with personal problems and hang-ups. That they would no longer be treated as "special".

Therefore erections are seen to be aggresive, sexually demanding, animal, and therefore wrong. Penises are there to be ridiculed and demeaned, until they have a use for one.

Male genitals are things of natural and biological beauty, with just as much importance to individuals and the human race as a whole, as female genitals do.

Because that’s why they get hard. That’s the goal. Mother Nature designed them for sex to happen easily. We all might not be around if that wasn’t the case. Hugs and Bisous.

Here's my theory: It's not accidental that cocks fit into butt holes as well as vaginas - it's the product of evolutionary processes that encourage sex between young men. The function of butt sex is to bond them together, starting in their early teen years. As a man familiar with butt sex, I find that I always feel bonded with guys who fuck me for a while. So, like it or not, when we see hard cocks we get turned on at least to some degree. The boner dude might be showing off snd looking for sex, or it might just be a spontaneous boner without erotic intention.
