The Brunt

He looks how I feel.
Thank you so much for all the emails and comments. They are truly appreciated - especially now.
The issue that brought the Muscular Dystrophy to light plague me again: My legs and feet don't want to work properly.

I do feel a bit better. Apparently, my back took the brunt of my falls. Not only can I not lie down for long periods of time, I can't stand or sit for long, either.

But the worst part:
I can't even get into the pool.

A really good massage would probably help. But that can't happen, either (damn COVID).

Oy...

Thanks for the update. I'm so sorry you're facing this latest challenge. Could you possibly have a masseuse come to your house and do a massage outside with both of you wearing masks? This would certainly mitigate the risks. Either way, I send you my love, and hold you in my heart.

Sorry for your continued troubles. No massage and no pool. How about a warm bath? No? Oh, dear. Sending you positive energy and good wishes. Be brave.

Oh no. Not the pool! But why? That would allow for not having to be standing OR sitting for long. Want me to send you my floaties?
But really. Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it’s just temporary.

OH man, that sucks. Sending you positive thoughts (I know it's not much, but it's what I've got).

Dang it! I was hoping these healing vibes I am sending would help. I will try to increase their intensity. I'd be happy to come massage you. Sucks not being able to get in a resting position. Sure wish we could get you in the pool. Seems like water would help your body - hot tub perhaps if we could get you in one. I do wish you all the very best. I hope you heal up and get feeling better soon, my Dear Friend. Hugs, Licks, and Strokes, AOM

If memory serves, there was a time when your wife has given you a massage on the occasion of one of your birthdays and you were satisfied with her services. Am I wrong? Would she have lost her know-how?
