Well, it was quite the trip. The implanted lens is fine. Drops every two hours. Next week there is an appointment with a local Cornea specialist to assess process of healing. Thank you to all my Faithful Readers who left comments and sent emails.
Now it's time to look forward to the new year.

Thought of a topic for future posts: What ever happened to the “Goy” movement that I recall seeing multiple blogs on years ago (old Yahoo Groups days)? Took a few days or weeks to sink in, but some of the recent posts or reader questions made me think of this again.

I think it was “g0y” with a zero instead of an “a” or an “o” for the middle letter. Seems like it also was associated with using M2M instead of other words. Sort of non-anal hypermasculine man-to-man sex positivity. I think the stuff I saw on the internet was big into “we’re guys, all this anal stuff is basically trying to imitate straight sex instead of what men naturally do with each other.” Possibly a little too evangelistic about their approach. Possibly at least theoretically bisexual positive. (Being thoroughly oriented myself to other men, I skimmed over that part, just as I pretty much ignored the semi-ranting against anal sex—again, just not interested myself.)
@ Anon - According to what I found, this g0y thing seems to have faded away.
G0Y (G-ZERO-y) is a guy who finds men attractive, but (for whatever reason) is offended by the stigmas that currently define the 'gay community' in the public psyche. A G0Y recognizes that the "gay-male" community tends to embrace every gender-bending act, fetish & affectation; --And include those things in the general specter of the image that "gay" projects publicly. As an example look up gay pride parade on Google and you will see many examples of the associations that the word gay represents. G0YS reject those associations completely & consider it a form of prejudice against men who love men.
Except where anal sex is considered. I do know quite a few gay men who refuse to engage in any type of anal activity. I think it may have something to do with the 1980's HIV/AIDS crisis.
