As the excerpt from WebMD includes a medicine I looked it up as I always do with any drug prescription - had some very bad experiences with a couple of drugs and their adverse effects.
The ones one may get from Finasteride seem sufficiently noticeable for them to think twice and engage with a serious discussion with their physician I think.
In the meantime, Pat's advice about carrying a folded handkerchief is the simplest yet effective one you may want to follow.

When I was young I had that problem at times, but Doc said it was nothing to worry about medically, so I wore dark pants where the spot didn't show (as much as it did on lighter colours) and eventually, it stopped. I asked him if jacking off caused it, but he said no. So at least I could continue to jerk off.
Be careful taking a drug like finasteride that may fix an inconvience. The list of possible side effects is noteworthy; would you have to take it forever? If you see a doctor, then,for the next couple of weeks keep a log of how often this is an issue and how significant. This will give you a clear understanding of how big a problem it is for yourself too. Women have ultra thin pant liners that are pretty much invisable that might be just the fix.

I used to take an amino acid supplement to INCREASE fluid.. now I can't remember which one.. it worked like magic.. not arginine, tyrosine, or citrulline .. increased Cowper's Gland output for that itchy twitchy juicy feeling..... anybody know what I'm talking about.

Always kept a clean folded handkerchief for when such a need arose, which was often when I was younger. Not so much a problem now in my 70's
I always wished that I would precum. I leak AFTER I cum but not before. Personally, I love it when I top a guy and just before I finish, he lets me taste his precum. That is just an amazing way to finish :). I understand why excessive precum could be an issue but I think I'd rather put something in my underwear to catch it than to slow it down but that's just me!
