When I was younger I didn't use lube, but that changed for the better when I got to my 50's. and started doing Body Electric massage workshops, that use coconut oil on the "magic wand". Seems like the parameters are how much pre-come you make, if you include strokes across the head, how much foreskin you have, and how tight the skin is when you're really hard. Some guys are too sensitive and don't like hand stroking across their head. Most uncut guys stroke their foreskin across the head. Most guys don't have enough pre to lubricate the head for hand strokes. Couldn't find a poll on Bateworld to see if there is some statistical info, but I'd hazard a guess that lube is pretty commonly in use by BW members.
