It Is...

...not just another ordinary day. No, it is not. We wake up to another four years of our forward, fair thinking president. We find the first openly gay Senator. We find equal rights for the LGBTQ community moving a step forward toward marriage equality. We find the extreme hate-mongers roundly defeated. We find an entire state that has busted through the glass ceiling with every major political position going to a woman. You go, ladies!!! We find our individual reproductive rights protected.

It is a time to celebrate - regardless of your political views. Our nation has proven, once again, that the majority of our citizens believe in equality, fairness, and, perhaps most importantly, in a future.

We can stand tall and proud and unashamed.
