The hatred and the disgust of any war do not prevent the duty to honor the heroes of these wars which are too often their victims and never their accomplices.
It's perhaps not quite the same war, but I have published a photo of a grave in the marble of which it is engraved:

- When I was in the military they gave me a medal for killing two men and a discharge for loving one. -
