Hot Flashes

Do men go through Menopause? Yes, we do. It's called Andropause. It affects most men as they age. After age 50, Testosterone levels begin to drop. But the symptoms vary from man to man. And according to Healthline.com Andropause can cause physical, sexual, and psychological problems.

  • low energy
  • depression or sadness
  • decreased motivation
  • lowered self-confidence
  • difficulty concentrating
  • insomnia or difficulty sleeping
  • increased body fat
  • reduced muscle mass and feelings of physical weakness
  • gynecomastia, or development of breasts
  • decreased bone density
  • erectile dysfunction
  • reduced libido
  • infertility
  • Many men also suffer from tender or swollen breasts (yes, guys, we do have breast tissue!)

smaller testicles,
3
loss of body hair

5

and...drum roll, please...hot flashes that make a guy want to jump into a cold pool.
6
Or wish for winter to return.
7
Obviously, we certainly notice weak - or the complete absence of - boners. Hell, that's the first thing we'll notice.

Before you go insisting on boner pills, see if there is anything else your doctor can recommend. Oftentimes, a change in diet, or increasing exercise will help. And, so will added sleep

13
because it is while we sleep that the man-berries are hard at work producing the elixir and sending it forth to work its magic.

But, remember...avoid breaking that boner: if you must have something on below the waist, always provide a means for your cock to escape.

Some of us have different things happen! For example: my testosterone has actually INCREASED with age!!!! (My doctor commented that some men half my age {83 next month} would be very pleased to have similar testosterone to me!!!!) So has my body hair!!!!! especially on my lower body (from the waist down) However, because of a botched second prostate surgery, I lost the ability to get an erection! No! Pills did nothing! I've accepted that, but I am amused by the increase in testosterone and body hair! Now! Do you have any explanation for that? My doctor does not!!!! It kind of amuses him!!!

Just a bisou because I have problems with my access provider since three days. All that I make take me so much time that, for instance, I can upload nothing except text.
The development of breasts at the man, a shade of mustache at the women, thus no jealous. Within hours which follow the fertilization of the ovum, the X or Y chromosome imposes its domination to the other one, but they coexist during all our life. With the age, the dominant chromosome dominates just a little less the other one.
Love hugs and bisous, my darlings Jean and Pat.

Patrick's higher testosterone must not be enough for Dr. to be concerned. Wonder if prostate surgery affected his levels. There ia a range for normal and he may be at the far end but not far enough to be in the hypergonadism level. He actually may benefit with a leaner body than if his levels were in the average to low for his age. Hugs and bisous.

Very good info and excellent pix! I'll have to collect some when I get back to my computer.

@ Patrick - It could have something to do with the Pituitary sending a signal for more. As long as it is not overly high, there is nothing to worry about. Of course, it would be more helpful if you were able to get erections. Hugs.

be sure: I hope my libido will go down a little bit (I'm 45 now). I'm always horny!
