Well, things are getting done. But, it must be a full moon, or some planet must be in retrograde or whatever.... It's been one thing after another this week, chewing up more money we don't have. But we must keep things in perspective...
...at least we haven't been ravaged by a hurricane. Though I have lots to do yet, I couldn't allow the day to go by. Yes, folks, it's that time again.
BUDDY BALL CHECK
You know the drill: haul The Boys out
and give them a thorough going-over.
Any odd lumps or bumps - hie thee to thy doctor. Then, be a good friend, father, brother, cousin, colleague, etc, etc.
The character, Roy Cohn, says in Angels in America, "There's no room in this country for the infirm." That statement is probably more true now than it was in the 1980s. So, be someone's angel.
Ladies, you can make those calls, too. Encourage all the men you know to do that TSE.
If you can do something to avoid falling into the infirm category, well.... Testicular cancer can be devastating. But, if caught early
There's no excuse for not doing it - you've got all weekend while you're lying around the house.
Have a good weekend.

Well, you have certainly returned with a great post! Trust you have a great weekend! Overcast here this morning! We need lots of good soaking rain! Long session with my doctor on Thursday - lots of changes to medication. Hugs across cyberspace!!!!!!!!!! Patrick
Hey Brother - so glad to see you back. I wish I could come over and help out. I wish you all the best in getting things completed around your place. Thanks for the ball check reminder. I wish you a most bonerific weekend. Hugs, Licks, and Strokes, AOM
Spend the money, you can't take it with you. The financial planners say your last check should bounce! Happy weekend hugs and bisous, Pat and French Patrick.
I can't be the only one who thought of the other Roy Cohn. Genovese consigliere?
Hope the work is going well. Then it is time to kick back and chill for a while. Hope you have a great week, my friend!
@ Anon - It is the nasty, hateful, closeted lawyer from New York who Tony Kushner blatantly wrote into his play. Though I did receive email denouncing the use of that line because of the attribution to the man, the truth of the statement remains.
@ Jean - A good friend of ours used to say, "If I die with a dime in my pocket, I died a day too soon."
