I've got such a bunch of things to do which I've allowed to slide to the sidelines as we watched Irma decimate portions of Florida. Like ensuring my friends and family, who are scattered throughout Florida, all made it through. And cleaning up after the thunderstorms that struck here. I will be taking a few days off from blogging to get caught up.
Whatever you do today, please take a moment to remember...

A beautiful post! We will be here when your back.
It goes without saying that we (I and all my fellow countrymen) do think a lot about the victims of Irma in Florida. Especially as I know some Floridian people of whom I still have no news, hoping that that is only a temporary problem of lack of means of communication.
It goes without saying that every November 11th revives memories as cruel as indelible, and I forgot no detail, where I was, what I was making, etc. in the minute when I learnt it.
But you are right, there are obvious facts which deserve to be said and repeated.
Starting with "Love, hugs and bisous, my dear friends Jean and Pat.
Good time for catching up. I'm in the process of eating all of the Storm stash of junk foods! (Who wants to be sitting with all the power off thinking of nothing but chocolate, so I had to buy them.). We're very much east and the storm is heading very much west. Who knew it would head that way, hugs and bisous.
@ Jean - very happy that it has diverted around you! Those chocolates - go ahead, enjoy!
HI! Thanks for your continuing visits and comments. Trust you are sorting things! Thought you might have joined me for High Tea and champers on the lawn!!!! Hugs!
@ Patrick - Well, they're getting there. More broken things, more expenses not expected. High Tea would've been awfully nice! Hugs!!!
