I'm back. Not that I wanted to return home but, at the same time, it's good to be in my own bed again. We had a good time. The water in the Gulf of Mexico was a beautiful 87F. We had great thunderstorms (which we don't see often in the desert), we had beautiful sunny days (which we get almost daily in the desert), we had balmy days with slight trade winds (which we never get in the desert), we had a couple of days of high humidity (ugh!) which we sometimes have, though many outside of the desert would laugh at what we call high humidity).
I did come to one realization. The biggest difference between a nude beach and a gay nude beach: Beach boners. The gays don't worry about hiding them; the straight dudes do. Though the MEL article stated correctly that a nude beach is not about sex, it's about being natural in nature. The sun and wind, and water on the body; the whole body. But, at the same time, it's kind of sad, actually.
Men are still made to feel erections are something they must hide, rather than a natural physiological function - which most of the time has absolutely nothing to do with sex.
All proving that the straight community still has a lot to learn from the gay community.
