I've often said that the boner is a man's general health barometer. In an email conversation with Bob, a Faithful Reader, he broached the subject of his own experience.
Bob, like all men, loves to jack off.
"But, what I really want you to share even more is that, when I started having trouble getting hard, I figured it was just ED due to my age. I researched diet helps and started eating beets more. They are great at opening up the veins and that did help. But if I did get hard, it would not last long. I was shooting cum but in a semi to soft state when I climaxed. I just did not know what to do, but still enjoyed looking at porn and thinking hot thoughts to stimulate my brain.
Then I was diagnosed with liver cancer. The docs got aggressive. My odds were 19% of survival. But I received a liver transplant and am healthy as a horse today. My dick started springing into action quickly again. Now I can start looking at a hot video and I am rock hard and can jack and edge for 3 or 4 hours straight. That cum shot feels so good now. SO- guys who are having hardon issues also need to have the cancer angle checked out if nothing else seems to be the culprit. And the sooner the better. There are blood tests now that can determine if there is a chance that cancer is growing anywhere in your body. That's how they knew my liver tumors were cancerous without even doing a biopsy of the tumor tissue. They do these same blood tests everytime I go in for a checkup, and my score is virtually zero now for both tests they perform."
Don't automatically run for the boner pills the instant you notice trouble with getting your cock hard. It really is better to see your doctor and ask for a full, complete physical.
Make sure the discussion includes the lack of solid erections.
But, get to the root cause before your doctor reaches for the Viagra, Cialis, or Levitra prescription.

A very good post my friend!
Oh the more reason to talk and share. And go to the doctors.
very useful!
To my regret I can only approve your advice. Too bad, it will be for another time.
Hugs and bisous, my darling Jean and Pat.
It's nice to read these stories but it's only ONE special case here.
For me, My ED issue came from me having diabetes and I didn't know about it many years after when my eyes did free games. My left eye was no more going with my right eye. I was double seeing.
Going to the emergency at the hospital, I was then diagnosed with diabetes type 2.
Diabetes affected my nerves and blood veins too. So not surprising I did have ED issue.
Now that my diabetes is controlled, my boner is not coming back because the nerves were to severely affected.
I can masturbate, having a semi hard erection but still can ejaculate.
So, there are many causes to ED and going to a doctor is surely the best thing to do and investigate on the REAL causes.
I never used to eat beets when I was a kid, but probably sometime in my twenties I decided that weren't too bad. I wonder how many you have to eat to see any benefit?
So lucky to have gotten an accurate diagnosis!! Don’t be shy, the doctors have heard everything, so tell them everything
Hugs and bisous.
Great info, Buddy. I totally agree wht mistress maddie - talk and share will save lives! I hope all is going well. Wishing you a bonerific day, my Friend. Hugs, Licks, and Strokes, AOM
Very useful, informative and interesting - as always. But though I'm not bi-polar, I suffer from bouts of depression and masturbation is the last thing on my mind - and I have every manner of sex "gizmos" as my dad used to say. How about a discussion on that topic? Or have I missed it? Love this blog - you do such a great job!
