Little-to-no Shrinkage

Thanks to Bryn and Bruce for the perfect timing of this comic.

Yes, it is!
Though, we don't have many flying bugs in these parts.

And the pool is finally warm enough that it will cause little-to-no shrinkage.  😎  So, this is where you can find me for the rest of the day. Reading Sooley.

With the occasional stroll over to take a dip and float in the pool.

Ohhhhh…
Nice!
It’s still somehow chilly here. The water doesn’t get warm enough to swim until maybe July or August.
Totally jealous.

XoXo

No bugs? Allow me to ship you some overly-pregnant denizens of Swarm X so you'll be all set 17 years from now!

They haven't hit my yard too hard yet-- I do have a flock of wild turkeys that cruise the lawn looking for critters to eat... supposedly, almost any wild critter is gorging on cicadas. Cicadas only survive because there are so many that a few are bound to survive!

How I envy YOU! Enjoy, my dear. Soak it all up and how wonderful that you're reading poolside. I've started taking a book to the prairie... it's a great way to pass the time outdoors. Take good care of yourself. Kizzes.

Can't imagine having a swimming pool in your backyard. What a pleasure that must be. Hugs and bisous.

Watch out tho. We're in a perfect storm for a second wave. Mostly the rush to declare COVID over is because the rich and powerful want to return to the status quo ante.

Warm enough to swim is always a good day.

@ Paul - we get a few cicadas throughout the Summer, very, very few mosquitos. One of the advantages of the desert.

@ Jean - It really is a pleasure. And we pay someone to put in the chemicals - it's actually cheaper because he knows how to regulate them. He scoops and brushes once a week, too. Though, sometimes I wonder if it's worth it for 3 or 4 months of the year. Then, I think about the 110-115F temps and go, "Yeah, it's worth it." LOL Hugs and bisous.
